Festival arts and the weekend

Hello!

We are coming down in January and a big draw was festival of the arts is the only festival we have not experienced yet.

We fly in on a Friday and leave the following Thursday.

I'm trying to decide which park on which days.

During this trip the skyliner is closed.
And MK will close early on the 27th. Debating if we avoid MK that day or take our chances for low crowds.

I'm mostly trying to decide our Epcot day or days. I'm thinking of dedicating two days to Epcot since we want to focus on the festival.

Are weekend during FARTS terrible since it's such a short festival?

I don’t think they are as bad as the other festivals since the musical acts are Broadway singers not former popular bands or celebrity narrators for Candlelight Procession.

I would definitely recommend MK on the day it closes earlier. Last year it was one of the lowest attended days of the entire year.

Personally I would choose any dates to attend the festival but also be open to moving them around depending in the weather. It is one festival where good weather makes a big difference.

I was there with my mom two weeks ago when it down poured and we couldn't finish our time with festival holidays so deff have this in mind. We also missed starlight for same reasons so this trip I am watching the weather.

Opening weekend can be a little crazy with the vloggers but other than that it’s not terrible. I would agree that going to MK on an early close day is a good idea. We tend to use that strategy often when choosing our MK days, crowds are usually great those days.
