:scared1:

We almost had another one yesterday, but DW was on her way to an appt., and couldn't stop. Thank goodness!

 I think DH would have a heart attack if we got another-He keeps reminding me how easy life was before the puppy!!!

Well, we only planned on one, but the rest just kept showing up. One from a shelter, one from off the street, and one showed up at our door during a thunderstorm (the 70lb lab, who weighed 9 lbs when he showed up).

Awwww-That's so nice of you:goodvibes

-We got this puppy from a shelter-and her front paw is getting so deformed now-She has Bassett in her and Her front paw is turning to the side-I guess the bones don't always grow evenly in Bassett's -she's not lame yet-but it might get that way later since she'll limp on it occasionally-She definately is showing her rescue puppy genes!!!!

All pretty big dogs:eek: -Ours is only 32lbs and has short little hound legs!!!

I would have a ton of animals. DH is at his limit with four. 2 cats, 2 dogs.

So she must rescue them from the side of the road. Good for her. :thumbsup2

Our third came from a Jim's Restaurant parking lot after we had eaten breakfast. She was just wandering around (with no collar) one of the busiests intersections in San Antonio, and would not have survived the day if we hadn't picked her up. We asked the shelters, but they were all full. That was 4 years ago!

Kevin you are a good man for letting her rescue those animals.

We rescued all the animals we have had except for the German Shepard.

Not too bad really. The oldest is 45 lbs, other border collie is 60, but she has a bit of a weight problem (kinda like me), the akita mix is only 40 lbs, and of course, the 70 lb lab.
