to surprise my niece and nephew about the upcoming trip to disney i was planning, i bought brochure paper from staples and downloaded a bunch of photos and facts and made personalized brochures all about POP and WDW. at the end of the brochure was "and guess what...you are going!" i mailed them and they just called me as they got them in the mail. they are so excited and can't believe we are going for a week.

i think i love this part of planning the most!

How cool!! I love to suprise little kids! I however hate to suprised!!

I am suprising my DD in September, and I have no clue as to how i'm doing it. I might just wake her up and say, "let's go to Disney!"

Wonderful vacation and happy planning :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :thumbsup2 Danny

We are surprising our kids with this trip.* Grandma decided to join us on this trip and we have been planning in secret since January.* Grandma is arriving at our home the day before we drive down.* The kids think she is coming for a 10 day visit. We have decided that during dinner that night (delivery pizza so we have no left overs) we are going to ask Grandma what she would like to do on her visit?* Then she can say "Let's go to Disney".* The kids will look confused.* DH and I will say "OK ... go pack!!!!!! "* The screams of excitement will start shortly afterward.** (at least I hope so...)

aww! I bet they were so excited!!!

I am going to try to surprise our girls for our trip. We leave at 3 am, it's a 9 hour drive. There's no doubt that they will be snoozing until about 10 am. I'm not going to tell them where we are going until we start approaching the big Disney World sign that you drive under!

Are you going to take in the Animal Kingdom? If you do - you must take in the Finding Nemo show. It is of Broadway quality. In fact, I would not be surprised to see an extended version appearing on Broadway in the future. The cast is incredible. And of course your admission gets you in. I think the theatre seats over 5,000 at a time. The show lasts about 35 minutes. Have a wonderful trip!

What a wonderful surprise for them!

We are surprising our kids in October. They know we are going, but they think it's Easter Break, 09. They have no clue it's only 118 days away! We are going to tell them the night before with a scavenger hunt!

this all sounds so cute! I think I'm telling my daughter the night before, something along the lines of "we never do anything fun, let's think of something....." and then tell her to go grab some stuff. I just can't wait to see her face, I think I will be more excited than her!

how cute! your kids will think that grandma has great powers!
