Hey folks,

Just thought I would share parts of an email I got from JetBlue yesterday.

I have been emailing them about once a week since the beginning of February, asking about when dates past October 31 will come out, and if they will be adding BOS to RSW (Ft Meyers) soon. I apologized in advance, and told them even though their email logs might have me flagged as a lunatic customer, I really wasn't :hyper: . I know for sure the email was read by a real person, because she said she was in charge of the lunatic desk, and she really did not mind. lol

Anyway, she toed the company line, said that they are adding flights and cities, and to keep checking the website. She even said I might want to check EVERY DAY . Now, I could be reading way too much into it, but I wonder if that means an announcement is coming soon?

Just thought I would share.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Debbie

I am also waiting to see when they will post Nov !! I need Oct 29 to Nov 7 and don't want to book just one way ! Hope something comes out soon ( oh and I checked this AM and still just Oct 31st )

I'm waiting, too, for November to open up!

Our trip is October 30 thru November 7. I never even considered buying only October 30 and then waiting for November 7.

Has anyone ever bought only part of their trip for this reason?

I sure hope the release the rest of the year soon. It's driving me CRAZY!!!

If anyone finds out they did, please post it here in this Transportation board!

Well Debster, it seems we got two different stories coming from JetBlue. The nice lady I talked (her name was Jennifer) to told me to wait until April at least; her words were something along the lines of: "we generally release new fares about 6 months ahead of time". This would put us at May for November flights. I also seem to remember her mentioning that they like to release a few months at a time, so maybe Nov, Dec, Jan coming all at once.

We were not comfortable waiting any longer, after missing the great fares Song had in January, so we pulled the trigger last week and got $204 round trip for exactly the times we wanted (no 6:30 AM minus 2 for TSA nonsense for us). Even so, we were not able to get the seats we wanted bcs the front of the plane is already filling up (tick tick tick, Beattyfamily ;) ); we generally take row 2 (C, D, E & F) so my DS, who is wheelchair bound, can sit at the bulkhead, either that or we take 1A and 1B for me and DS, 2A and 2B for Mom and DD. On the flight down, we're gonna be 1A and 1B, then 5A and 5B; yuck. Still, $204 each for perfect times and piece of mind was well worth it for us.

Ha! Ha! Ha!

I usually fly Delta/Song. I usually buy my tickets ASAP 330 days out so this waiting for Jetblue is not the norm for me and it's KILLING me!

I am waiting, though, for a few reasons...1. I didn't have the money at 330 days out 2. I have a credit of $45 with Jetblue 3. Song prices are VERY high for my dates.

So I really have no choice. I must patiently wait for November to be released! Boo hoo!:(

I am very tempted, though, to book the flight down and wait for the flight home. Haven't decided that one yet.

Beattyfamily I will keep you company while waiting !!!

Sorry for the gratuitous taunting ;). But really, I expect you should book the flight down (using up your credit that way), then wait until fares come out for the flight back, and buy then. Surely you'll be among the first 50-100 ppl if you keep checking their site and this board, right? That way you'll keep the money for the return flight earning interest (or not accruing interest as the case may be). Good Luck!

I'm really leaning toward doing this. My DH is no help with an opinon about this though, but he never is when it comes to the planning of our vacations. He just shows up.

I'll decide in the next couple of days though. One person said a CON to this idea was that because I'm buying one-way, I could get flagged for a special security check but if that is the only CON then I think I'll still do it.

Thanks.

Oh, great. I just booked a one way for 3 weeks from now. It was cheaper to fly down on jetblue and back on song. I will be traveling with my 3 year old (and my sister with her 2 year old). Should be fun if they make a major production out of it

As far as waiting goes, I need december flights. So I'm waiting with you. I was also told by Jetblue that it would be any day and to keep checking daily.

Lexxiefern--I don't think it will be a big production at all. I mentioned it only so that folks could figure in some extra time. I also don't think 2 single women flying with 2 young children are on anyone's profile sheet.

It will be fine. Really. It will. After all, you're going to WDW, right? :hyper: :hyper: :teeth:

i bet they are feeling some sort of pressure if we all keep calling and e-mailing so hopefully they will get on with it and get them out for all us waiting people !!!
