As of this moment, I will be there with my 4 yr old daughter, my best friend from MD (Celebrating her 30th b-day that weekend), and my mother. Due to many financial difficulties we are experiencing (my daughter was in the Hospital last week for seizures (never had them before) with no insurance) :sad1: , in addition to a trip to WDW Nov. 27- Dec. 3, we will probably be missing the party. If things change and we can get tickets, we will be trying to get tickets for the Feb 1 party.

Me, DH, and 2 DD will be there March 8th. :cool1: I can't wait. This will be our first party. DD11 is going as Jasmin and DD7 is going as a pirate. I don't think DH will dress up. Might just get him a pirate T-shirt. I will try to dress up. Waiting till after Halloween for the costume sales. Have fun everyone.

I posted this on another thread but wanted to ask it here too... I am thinking of taking a quick solo trip in January... do you think this party would be worth it for a solo adult? It seems geared toward families with young children but I think it may be worth it for the parade and fireworks... what do you think?

Good luck with everything Jaime. :goodvibes :wizard:

I would go even if I didn't have kids! I think it sounds like a blast for all ages. I say if you want to go, then go! ::yes::

We will be there on the 22nd of Jan. We have ADR's for Tony's at 5. 2 of my DD will be princesses, my 2 DS's will be pirates and I'm not sure what my oldest 2 DD's will be. DH and I will go as mom and dad.

I should be going on Jan 26

Never been to one of Disney's Partys...what should we expect?

I have considered going to this party but it will be just DH and I. I have heard that it will be for little kids and may not be great for 2 adults. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I have never been to any of the big parties at WDW so having nothing to go by at all to make a decision.

Any thoughts?

We have only been to one of them, MVMCP last December. It was fun! It's neat to see some different things, themed fireworks and parade, special shows... You wear a wristband so they know you have a ticket. And if the trend continues, party-goers will be able to enter the park at 4:30 with just the party ticket. We'll have to wait for that first party to happen to know if that's the case! :)

I think there will be something for all ages. If you like the description of the party, then go for it! :)

Going feb 1 st which is my birthday present to myself. Spending my 32nd b-day in the world can not wait, my DH and DD(6) and DD(3) are going with me and we are not sure who is more excited me or them. My husband wants me to dress like Jasmine, but I am pooh sized and think that might be a little scary :rotfl: . Just kidding! but truly can not wait!!!!!!!!!

Still unsure if I'll be able to attend because my mom needs to make up her mind.
grrr.
:rotfl:
But, I would love to go and I'm subscribing to this thread in hopes of finding out more information!
:goodvibes

Does anyone know how many total tickets they will sell per night and what the chances are of parties being sold out. I know I saw Oct 31 is sold out for halloween party but not noticing any other night being sold out. I just wonder how crowded these events will be and just how many tickets they sell??? :confused3

On page 7 of this thread NewEnglandDisney posted that "Disney does not announce the numbers, and no one knows for sure. Estimates for MNSSHP's run around 20-25K, but again, no one really knows."

As far as selling out, I would be surprised if any of the P&P parties sell out. It just doesn't seem to me that they would, since they aren't associated with any holidays or certain times of year. (Like the halloween and Christmas parties selling out near those holidays...) But, I did get my tickets already, just in case! lol
