The Jan/Feb/Mar 2007 Pirate & Princess Party thread!

A couple of reviews mention that ticket holders were allowed to enter at 4:00 p.m. with just the party tickets. Can anyone confirm being allowed in the park at 4:00 with just the party ticket and no ADR?

Thanks, Damo. I didn't see that post. Can't wait til we go to the party on 2/23! Hopefully, some of the kinks will be worked out by then and everything will be going smoothly.

Probably my second favorite fireworks, not as good as Wishes but better than Holiday Wishes, HalloWishes and Illuminations.

In case it hasn't been said enough the fireworks were AWESOME!! I've seen all the fireworks except the MVMCP and these were the best. The parade was not as good IMHO. Since there are many reviews already I won't go into detail unless someone has a specific question that I can answer. In short, great party....ohh yea..and I met Deb Wills just before Dinner....she gave me a pen, kids stickers and took a photo of our boys dressed up as Davy Jones and Jack Sparrow(he thought he was will turner though..shh...)

Sorry for the delay...didn't get back until almost 1am and didn't have a network cable in my room. I see there are plenty of reviews already and I'm heading to epcot right now!! Fireworks were awesome, after the rain the lines were non-existant. Rides were all walk on, shows were empty...candy lines were silly long early on and empty later. Very similar to the MNSSHP. It was a great party overall. Ate at LTT and characters were not in pirate garb...that surprised me.

I'm so bummed we won't be going to do this! Don't get me wrong, I think it's great they are doing this, I'm just totally bummed we won't get to do it. Maybe they'll do it again in 2008 if it is a great hit this year- which I'm sure it will be!


The only thing that struck me as odd is the rule about no weapons that might RESEMBLE real ones. Does that include the swords and rifles and stuff they sell in the pirates store? Cause I know the rifle looking guns my kids bought there on one of our trips look pretty realistic...

Thank you DisneyWorldWisher!! I only watched a few seconds of it. I want to wait and see them in person. But from what I saw and heard, I think I'm going to enjoy them!

I'm guessing that doesn't include the ones you can buy there. Probably they mean ones not sold in the WDW Resort that look realistic. I know what you mean though, kinda a tricky thing...

NOt only was the Photopass system working during the 1/22 party, but there was a photopass photographer taking pictures of guests with Captain Jack Sparrow.

Yes, we got one with Pochahonas, John Smith, and Mikah (sp?).

The CM's were as excited about this event as we were!!
