I just found out that another friend has been diagnosed with breast cancer. So, that's two in four days this week. And my refrigerator broke today. I had to throw out a bunch of food and now have to spend more money to get it fixed tomorrow. That's in addition to the carpet cleaning on Tuesday and the vet bills.

So, Ed, can you send me a margarita fast??

Thanks, Buzz. I'm still waiting to hear about my cousin. Surgery was at 1pm today. No word yet.

After the fridge broke today, I just convinced DH to go out for dinner. Be back later.

Ressies are now 180 days out. It's 180+10 actually, which means you could be making them now, depending on when your check-in date is. Just saying....

FYI, just got word about my cousin. They got the tumor out and her lymph nodes are clear, so it looks good. She'll probably need chemo and possibly more surgery, but at least it hasn't spread. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!

Went to Fazoli's. Met DH there before he left for a business trip overnight.

I had ice cream instead of the drink tonight. Chocolate is a pretty good substitute.

Actually, I didn't feel it this morning, but a lot of people did. Just had a pretty big aftershock at 11:15 too. Weird, considering we're in the middle of the country!
