The 'I'm attending MVMCP' thread

We will be attending the November 27th party, there will be 9 of us going. This will be our 5th MVMCP and I can't wait!

We will be attending MVMCP on Nov 9 - it's our first time! It will be me, DH, DSD14, DS7, DS4, my mom, my inlaws, my cousin, and her daughter (so 10 of us. My cousin's hubby will stay at the resort with their youngest - poor him!)

Now 11 days away from the first MVMCP of the 2012 season. For those who are going,

I am looking for tickets to the first night, Nov 9. We were about to order our tickets and now they are sold out! we we going with our family from NJ (who luckily already have their tickets) but we can't get them now! It's they only chance for us to spend time with them while they are in town and they leave the next day. :/ if anyone has four adult tickets they can't use that night please let me know and will be happy to buy them from you. If not we'll understand but be quite bummed as we've never been to the party before. :/ fingers crossed... Thanks in advance

You prompted me to go ahead and buy my tickets. I wanted to hold out shelling over the $400, but my date is next to the last party (and our last day in WDW), so I didn't want to take a chance. Good luck to you!!

My daughter and I are going Nov.9! First time! This is a mom-daughter trip, and I can't wait! She lives in IN and I live in WA, so we don't get to spend a lot of time together. I have taken the grandkids to WDW, but wasn't able to take her when she was little, so glad to get to do it now!
We arrive at WDW tomorrow!

Oh no!! My mom and cousins waited too long to get their tickets for the 9th, and now it's sold out. I am so bummed for them!!

Does anyone know, is there any way to buy tickets outside of Disney? (Not trying to be illegal or anything, I just know you can buy theme park tickets from places like Undercover Tourist and sporting event tix from Stub Hub, and wondered if anyone else sells MVMCP tix?) On the same note, if anyone has any extra tix (need 3 adults and 1 child) and wants to sell them (is that even allowed??), please let me know.

UPDATE: Somehow, my mom managed to get tix for herself and my cousins. I have no idea how she got them, but am so thrilled she did!! Hooray for pixie dust!!

The reason we are doing 2 is we did MNSSHP in 2010 and regret not doing 2 of them since we missed out on character meet & greets, as well as some of the activities, and we had scheduled our trip with only one party going on that week we were there so for this trip we made sure to plan around 2 parties and book our tickets as soon as they were available

I wonder why the first MVMCP (Nov 9th) sold out already. I figured it would have been fairly empty compared to other nights so far away from Christmas.

For starters, it's a Friday. The Friday of a 3 day weekend for many. And the last MNSSHP is only 7 days prior. I think a lot of folks are going to double up and try both. I considered that myself this year, but didn't want to take a chance on the new FL not being open yet.
