I'll be travelling SOLO to the party on Nov 27th! Yay! It's my second party. I'd love to meet up for a cookie/hot coco with anyone while there!

You prompted me to go ahead and buy my tickets. I wanted to hold out shelling over the $400, but my date is next to the last party (and our last day in WDW), so I didn't want to take a chance. Good luck to you!!

I JUST had this conversation with my husband not 1 min. ago. He told me go and buy the tickets NOW. But I don't want to fork over the $400 'in case' ... what if we can't go? Someone gets sick? IDK ... makes me nervous, but now that they are selling out, I guess I better go and bite the bullet.

Going on 11/25, party of 7! Sixth year for us, but this year taking my Mom for the first time. It's one of my most favorite Disney events!

DH and I are attending our first party on 11/9!! I'd been delaying buying my tickets because I wanted to see what the weather was like, but then I got scared on Tuesday and just went ahead and got them. Thank goodness I did! Although I'm slightly worried about the sold out crowds .

DH doesn't know we are going so I'm excited to surprise him!

While there is never any guarantee, I doubt it. The 9th sold out because it's the Friday night of Veteran's Day weekend. By the following week it should be back down to normal crowd levels.

The 9th selling out did not surprise me in the least. The 12th or 15th would.

I had to weigh the pros and cons too. But I have a lot riding on my date!

-It's our last day in WDW (we always end our trips at MK and I didn't want to leave the park at 7PM and see no fireworks on our last day. Kind of an anti-climatic way to end the vacation)
-It's my youngest DD's 4th birthday
-Rumor has it that the last dates for the party usually sell out

Like you, my husband wanted to wait (I haven't even bought airfare yet!). BUT, I figured I'd rather have the option to go rather than have the option taken from me. I've heard of Disney sometimes refunding if an emergency arises, so I'll hold on to that thought!
