Did you know that after the flight of the conchords concert, I posted the photos here, and coz I was proud of a couple of them I posted them over on the photography board.

I then got a PM from a mod saying that the photos were off topic and offending people, so the thread was removed

Just having a vent. It happened a couple of weeks ago, but I was caught up going to Japan, so I didn't think about it, but I just thought about it then, and that sucks...

Not just olympic sports either, what has happened to our cricket team? Our rugby team? There just don't seem to be any Australian sporting heros like there used to be...

We need more Keiran Perkins and Cathy Freemans and names that you remember because they're winning gold year after year...

I just paid $9.99 for a birthday card!!!

My niece is turning 21 this week, so we are off to a party tomorrow, anyway just went and bought a card - normally I would buy one from the reject shop or such - but we were in Kmart and I didnt want to be a cheapskate so anyway went with a hallmark one and not until I scanned it at the register did I realise it was $9.99

Even the kids were urging me to swap it!

Enough said. Yes we're going for gold and yes it is a great disappointment when you don't bring it home, but silver and bronze isn't anything to be ashamed of.
