The Hyena Chat thread: Everyone's welcome!

And there is nothing on tv, seriously it's so bad I'm having to watch Bridezillas.:scared1:

So my question for these guys that are marrying the Bridezilla's is WHY? Don't they realize that this is probably the best mood these ladies are going to be in? They will do nothing but get worse as they get older. I'm willing to be the divorce rate among them is pretty high. But maybe not, these guys don't seem to have the, well you know, to tell them off. Seriously, if someone talked to me that way and treated our family and friends that way there is no way that I would marry them.

You guys are just sitting there laughing at me aren't you? This is NOT funny!

False alarm. I thought DH and the kidlets were home, sounded like a bunch of car doors shutting. Instead it was one of the kitty cat's playing with the bathroom cabinet door.:lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: KIDDING! I am poking my head in for a second. We cleaned up this morning, and thats about it. We went to Costco yesterday... for a gourmet lunch of hot dogs and Pizza. :lmao: Then we browsed... I like browsing costco.. They had the doll house that we have been thinking about getting Mikalah for Christmas. Its is big and sturdy. Not the cutest thing, but it really looks like it will hold up against her harsh play.

Soooo... What besides a doll house would Mikalah want for Christmas? I am stumped. Alex is easy. Frelan wants to get him a PSP. Okay... cool. Ill let him handle that. Some clothes, and that is it. The boy is done.

maybe some dress up clothes.. She likes that. They have so many freaking toys.

We got DD a Little Tykes doll house. She still has it...of course it's up in the attic, but it lasted many years.:thumbsup2

Mikalah already has this little tiny doll house... My MIL gave it to her last year, and Mikalah plays with it ALL the time. But it is VERY small. Really.. She can carry it around with one hand small. The one we are looking at is for Barbie sized dolls.. but it isnt a "Barbie" house.

My FIL made a headboard for my niece. It is shaped like a giant triangular shaped dollhouse. But when she gets bigger then she can just use it as a bookcase or shelves. So do you have room for this giant doll house? I know that even DD's dollhouse took up a lot of room in her bedroom.

Here's the one that DD had. It is very sturdy. We have all the accessories that go with it...the swimming pool and mini van.:lmao: So if you need furniture for the dollhouse I notice that Dollar Tree seems to always carry dollhouse furniture.:thumbsup2

Of course it's more fun to make your own furniture....Ziploc bags filled with water for waterbeds, little plastic pizza box things for tables.:rotfl:

Ugh.. Sorry.. I was on the phone with my mom. We will have room for it.. W are in the process of getting rid of a ton of thier stuff, and will hopefully be moving right around Christmas. So she will have her own room to put it in. :cool1:

It's funny but DD LOVED her dollhouse. I know that if she had room in her bedroom she would probably still have it in there. I always loved playing with dollhouses, one of the great benefits of having a girl.:thumbsup2

Cool, I found the mini van. Except ours is green and doesn't have the fancy wood paneling on the side.:lmao:

:lmao: I know! We were really surprised how much Mikalah liked the little one she has.. She is such a little boy most of the time, you know? Power Rangers.. Batman.. Ironman... We just didnt expect her to go crazy like she did.

That is a FANCY minivan. Gotta love wood paneling. :lmao:

Yeah, when I was a kid that was all the rage. People everywhere driving around with their cars still in the wood carton.:lmao:

Sorry about disappearing for a moment. Had to file DH's unemployment claim for last week.

:thumbsup2 You know.. I was telling my sister that when DH was on unemployment we could file online, and she said that they couldnt. It all had to be mailed in. Isnt that kind of odd? I would think that California would have a better system then that!

So we are kind of keeping our fingers crossed. DH applied to Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad as a conductor or track maintenance person. He had to go in and take a math and other tests. He passed the tests and then had an interview. They then called him and he has a physical & drug test scheduled for Wednesday and then a hearing & vision test on Friday. So we are hoping that he gets a job offer. It could involve some travel and he would be on call 24/7, but the railroad has awesome benefits and pay. Most of the travel would be in-state between Pasco, Spokane, Seattle and Vancouver. Job would be based out of Vancouver and a lot of the work would be in their switching yard in Vancouver.

He also has a telephone interview with another company this week as well. It is Blount from out of Portland. They make Oregon brand chain saw bars.
