My son is 4, he got it when he was 3, so we have some of the easier games. I want to get him some tougher ones for Christmas because I think he's ready for them.alacazander said:Thanks Bengalbelle - BTW - which games do you have? Any better then any others or one NOT to get!
This is a little OT, but I wanted to tell you how much fun we've had playing with Alphabet Park Adventures (I'm assuming this smartridge still comes with it). Anyway, we find it pretty entertaining! DS loves to make the boy fall instead of doing what he is supposed to because of the sounds the boy makes when he falls or runs into something. DS thinks it's pretty funny. We also like when he's climbing and the boys says up, up, up. Usually "free" games aren't that great, but we really enjoy this one.bengalbelle said:My son is 4, he got it when he was 3, so we have some of the easier games. We have Learnin' Wheels, Toy Story, Winnie the Pooh, Simba's Adventures, Mickey's Magical Adventures and Alphabet Park Adventures (the one that comes with it).
The only one that seemed too easy, even when he was younger, was Simba's Adventures. He never really cared for it. It took me a long time to find Learnin' Wheels, but it was worth the search. He loves it! Toy Story is another favorite.
We haven't played Mickey yet. Actually, DS doesn't know we have it so I'll probably put it up for Christmas. He's been going up the levels on the games he has, and also playing with his Leapster so I haven't bought any new games for awhile. I bought him the pocket Vsmile so I'll get more smartridges for Christmas and/or birthday.

alacazander said:Ok - I bought a really fun toy today at TRU. Remember spin art? You put the paper on the spinner and you squirt paint on to it.
Lite brite has one called Flash art. Same concept paint on paper but it comes in this nice box you just flip the lid open, insert the paper and it has two buttons on the top that spin it and plays cute music. Comes with neon paint.
Also has refills of different color paint, neon paper and paper with designs on them.
TRU has them on sale for $14.99 this week original price of $19.99 and refills $4.99
