Hey, can you add "Sand in your Pants" to that drink list?? ;) It's one of my favorites... half pina colada and half strawberry daquiri. :p :p :p

That one sounds really good, so house drinks are now:

Ed: Margaritas
Goofy4Tink and castlegazer: Trade Winds
TigrLvsPooh: Sand In Your Pants

Anyone else want to add to the list?

Hey, in case I get let out of this joint early today and my usual 9-5 DISing gets cut short - everyone have a very nice weekend and for those Christians in the group - Have a Happy Easter!

Man, I'm just waking up!!! castlegazer....that was you with the guys dancin'?? Oh what a fog I was in. Must have been those Trade Winds that blew me away!!!! I'm off to have a long soak in the hot tub. My belly button is full of sand...now how did that happen? Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. Don't eat too many jelly beans!

I made enough for everyone...would anyone like to join me?

Sure will join you!!! Cheers everyone. Bottoms up. And all that other good stuff.

Happy Monday everyone. Well, I, for one, am glad that week is over. Now, to concentrate on my tan. Just waiting for the sun to come out, so I can hit the beach. See ya all there.

So how was everyone's weekend? I failed on getting the plane over for the tour of Volcanoes National Park because I had to jet out of town for the weekend due to Easter.

I had the distinct pleasure of watching my two year old hunt for easter eggs - and because of his age, I didn't have to try to hard to fool him when I was hiding them. That was really neat. He had so much fun - I filled them with fruit snacks of Pooh characters and Bob the Builder. He also dyed easter eggs for the first time and was really good at it - I was shocked he could manipulate that wire egg holder thingy. It was also my Dad's birthday - he died in December suddenly - and because we had never had to do this before we were all a little awkward in how to handle it with my Mom, but it worked out kindof funny. We kept setting the table Saturday night for one more than we actually had eating which was completely accidental and it kept happening so we all laughed and raised a toast for my Dad which was the perfect thing to do it turned out.

Goofy4Tink, why was last week so bad? This is my terror week. Either my husband or I have meetings every night this week which just stinks when this happens, and my work load is tres terrible this week too. So all, keep tipping thse martinis and Scorpion Bowls and I will check in when I can.

Well castlegazer....Holy Week is a huge committment for me. While I have so say that I am not the most spiritual person in the world, I seem to be practically living at church for this past week. It starts with the Sat before Palm Sunday and it's a constant run around until Easter night. I took over the position of our church's altar guild directress from my mom when she died last fall. And I sing in our choir. So, between all the work with my altar guild people, singing at about 6 services, I had to deal with the reminders of my mom. This was her favorite season in church. Now..she was spiritual!! But, enough whining. Although, between our 7:45 am and 10:15 am services, our priest was sitting with the choir as we enjoyed our little brunch. He said to me..."Well Diane...Hell Week is almost over!" You could have knocked me over with a feather. I call it that to myself but I never expected him to feel the same way!!! BTW....we are episcopalian. Don't want to offend anyone. So, yep...glad it's done with for this year. Now...on to some Scorpian bowls or Trade Winds or whatever..

Congaloosh. I'll try to keep the blender running and I'll send out the house boy for some fresh fruit for you guys for those drinks. Any other requests? I can have the massage therapist standing by.

Hi all!

You guys seemed to have a very busy weekend while I was in beautiful California. I'll post some highlights later on but for now I just wanted to stop in and say hello.

Well now Ed, my friend.....you are my HERO. Keeping that blender running, getting us fresh fruit and the massage therapist at the ready....what a guy. I am feeling so much more relaxed now. Almost human again. Why....even chocolate is looking good again.

Goofy4Tink - I totally know where you are coming from. I did not do as many of the services as I usually do, but this past week is an altar gulid nightmare. My mother similarly does it for her/my home church plus she does the easter breakfast for the congregation and with my father's birthday falling this week also - it was a crazy week for her. We went out Saturday with her and my son helped her put the lillies on the altar and set the cloths and we then all helped make egg bakes all Saturday night. That was a precious time for all of us. It turned out to be fun - but she is definately glad everything is done and its back to a regular schedule.

Pina Coladas all around.

Well, I have had guests for the last week and they've been staying in my study cutting off access to my computer. I come back and couldn't find you guys - I really did feel homeless!!

FINALLY, I paid attention to the new address and voila - I'M HOME!!!

Is there still a room or small space for me? I'm pretty small (5'3" and 110 1bs), so I can squeeze in just about any old place.

Sounds like you guys have been having a blast in my absence!
