Oh 88keys you are too funny, I almost wet myself on that one.
I think William Shatner plays the purple teacup. Not sure though.

I know the guy who played Screech on Saved by the Bell is the yellow tea cup on the far left , if you're facing the attaction.

As far as the script goes I think I heard a piece of Hamlet's soliliqy being performed by the drunk mouse in the middle. The drunk mouse BTW is voiced by academy award winning actress Jennifer Love Hewitt.

hmm good one I would have to say it is a special effects dust purchased regularly and brought in by cast members. Ironically enough cast memers have a hard time keeping the mansion in its state due to the cleaners confusion. They say leave the cobwebs and dont dust the dust.

Actually, the line about leave the cobwebs and don't dust the dust came right off one of the Disney specials I have on tape from the travel channel. Don't offhand remember which one, so I"ll just click the link you put every time you use an outside source.......Ummmmmm......where's that link? :confused3

it was from a travel channel special that had some cool behind the scenes stuff.

It was posted earlier that they add NBC characters to HM during holiday time. Is this just at DL or do they do it at WDW? When do they do it? Halloween or Christmas?

WDW has never had teh NBC Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay. This is something that they have been doing at DL in the fall since 2002, I believe. There were rumors going around quite awhile back that the WDW HM got measured for the overlay, but it has not been done here.

Boney and Money (do you mean moany?!)....HAW HAW HAW! :rotfl2:

Not quite, but close. It's Rover. But the dog and his better-fed likenesses in other MK attractions have gone by 3 other names over the years as well. Does the KING know what they are? Does the KING know who the dog's inspiration was? If not, look it up, quote your source (or sources) and we'll see if your research skills are up to snuff! :thumbsup2

As for the Eddie Murphy question, it's beyond comprehension. There simply IS no good answer that stays within the boundries of logic.

They were SUPPOSED to do it in WDW two years ago actually, but they only had money for either that or Stitch's Great Escape....guess which choice they made... honestly, they're going to be paying for that stupid mistake for years.

Money was the answer to your eddie Murphy movie question.

Bony is one of the names it goes by as well!

I was eating some ice cream today and I read the ingredient label. Now I know how to make ice cream.

I AM THE ICE CREAM KING! I CAN DO ANYTHING!!

After all this talking about the HM, I'm going to have to head over this weekend and ride it again. It's been about a month since I've been over there and I never get tired of hearing Paul Frees...such a comanding voice.

I don't know which is funnier -- that one of the teacups is voiced by Screech or that Jennifer Love Hewitt has an Oscar....

JLH has won an Academy Award for WHAT? I don't think she has. She was a TV star for most of her life and she's a brief and unrememerable movie career. She was in Garfield for God's sake.

What a funny thread... popcorn::
I LOVE DL Holiday HM overlay. It actually makes it alot less scary for little kids and easily scared kids, and something a little different (temporarily) for those that have seen it many many times. It opens the end of September/beginning of October, so it is up for a good 3 months. Tokyo Disneyland is the only other HM that has this holiday version right now. I hope that WDW gets theirs soon.

I will say that Phantom Manor in DLP is really really awesome. I consider it my favorite and best HM of them all (my own opinion of course). Even I get a little freaked out riding it. It has more of a storyline along the lines of the bride--pretty spooky, and even a little more gruesome--definitely more for older kids on up.
I heard that Disneyland's new version takes on a more story like plot too about the bride--I can't wait to see it. Tokyo's is pretty much the same as the others, except in japanese...LOL I did not notice much difference.

Sorry had to just add my input since I have seen so many versions of the HM. :teeth:

. . . hard time keeping the mansion in its state due to the cleaners confusion. . .

1) Nice try "King".
2) Obviously a wrong guess.
3) The ONLY cleanign confusion was BEFORE the ride was open.
4) There has NOT been confusion since that time.
5) Yes, the crew did actually clean the dust and webs, but not since then.

NOTE: Maybe we should reduce the King to Prince status.

Or jester!

Or, let's remember he's 15, give him a chance, and maybe he'll take the need to be SURE when he calls himself an expert to heart and he'll actually be our best source for HM info some day! :teeth:

No need to cut him any slack for giving incorrect info after some rather boastful claims, but let's give the guy a break and let him redeem himself, shall we? :thumbsup2

wolfxofxnovember, you're up against a lot of people who really do know their stuff. Show us you 'got the message' and go back and research your answers. You can do it! If you try, I hope you have as much fun learning the FACTS about HM as I did when I spent the time making sure what I heard was correct. :)
