As for the Hustle and the Twist, I did not witness this myself but they DO perform both. I think the Hustle is at 8a in the Food Court and the Twist is at 6p in the Food Court. I may have these reversed.

In Dec., we saw the Hustle at 6pm in both the Food Court and the Front Lobby. :cool1:

The Twist is at 8am and the Hustle is at 6pm, it is great fun and exercise and the whole staff empties to do it. I joined them many times, and loved it. Great way to wake up and begin a truly Disney Day!

ebarj1098 (or anyone else with the info)

How did you know which building you are booked for in advance? Did someone give you this info? Or is this just what you requested?

Thanks!

Even if "preferred" 60's section was booked, which actual building and room location would not be known until check-in. I would not book a preferred room because some of the rooms at the end or the backare not any closer than some other sections.

Does anyone know which buildings are non-smoking, we have a guaranteed non-smoking building, and I am trying to narrow down where we might end up....
Thanks

We stayed at Pop last July and loved it, had a room in the 50s section, everything A+. We stayed again in October, this time in 70s section, and mattresses were awful. Squishy, lumpy, very uncomfortable. Not good as I have disc problems. We are going again this June. What if mattresses are horrible? Can I call Mousekeeping and request new mattress, since it is a health concern with my back? Just wondering . . . :scratchin

Working on my budget for my Dec trip and have a question. Does anyone know, in the food court, do they serve regular Diet Coke or Caffeine Free Diet Coke? I hate the regular DC but love the CFDC. I will get the refillable mug if they have the CF.

Most places I saw only the regular DC, but they do have the CF at the Electric Umbrella at Epcot, so they do have it availabe to sell.

If they don't, wonder if they would take my suggestion to switch? :rotfl2:

In response to the question about the pools. Didn't see any pool "toys" there last year, but I was able to rent (? - I think it was free) a lifejacket for my daughter so that she could swim with me instead of attached to me!!! :earsboy:

If you have any problems with the mattress, just ask for a room change. It could very well be that your particular mattress was jumped on by little kids more than another mattress.

Janet2K - Thank you so much for sharing the photos. They look fabulous. How will I ever be able to wait until 12/2006 to go to POP??

May I ask how you arranged for the Mickey gift basket in your room?

I believe it stays open til midnight. We enjoyed our stay there last Sept. The DD's wanted to stay there again but I want to stay at as many resorts as we can! The transportation at Pop was wonderful we had no complaints!

I will be visiting WDW 5/23 for the first time for my family. I understand my wish list is kinda long, please bear with me.
I was wondering how / what to request if i want the following things in the following order (top one highest priority).
1. Non-smoking (little smoke sets off wife's allergy)
2. Quiet (4th floor / ending rooms much better thand groud level?)
3. Close to bus stop (mobility challenged but not using wheelchair)
4. Firework view (4th floor better view?)
5. Connecting rooms
6. Ground level

I have first hand experience of a bad room can ruin the vacation, so i would apprecaite a lot for your input.

Thanks,
Dennis

Just a few tips... you can have fireworks view -or- close to bus stops, but not both. Also, each building has two elevators, so you don't need to worry about stairs. Ground floor connects are sometimes hard to get. Ground floor will also be noisier than upper floors.

Food court had both reg. diet coke and caffeine free diet coke. Also they made a slight change since our last visit...no pink lemonade, but added light lemonade, also had apple juice don't remember that from before!

Does anyone know how late the pool stays open @ Pop?

The pool stays open till midnight, and yes there are people in there till midnight!! Something to consider if you request a room facing the pool. It gets very loud down there.

I'm going to Disney in mid March. We are soo excited, it's been a while.

We got a very good air fare that unfortunately will make us arrive at 1:00 am to Pop, where I already have my reservations for 2 standard connected rooms.
It's the price that we have to pay for being a big family; have to save in whatever we can.

The CM handled very nicely my requests but I forgot to mention my late arrival. Should I call again to let them know, right? Is it going to be an issue that could affect my requests arriving so late at night? Does somebody have experience with a late arrival that could share with me? Could the check in take longer because of the hour?

Sorry for so many questions, but even though I checked the threads I didn't seem to see nothing related to this.

By the way, THANKS to everybody, what a great gathering of information! I'm an old Dis member but I hadn't posted for some time. I'm very glad to see that the boards remain as nice as I remembered them.

Any suggestion or comment will be mostly appreciated.

Does anyone have the mailing address for shipping packages to POP? How about POP's phone number? Thank you!! :flower:

We stayed one night at POP before moving to BWV and thought the place was adorable. No problems to report at all!
