You didn't say if you were onDDP or not .If you are a box of Entenmanns donuts is a snack credit atPop. I may have to check out Staples for water too.

Oooh that is a good tip Pixiedust :thumbsup2 ! I've gone over our grocery deliverly list and we may be able to make due without the bagels although I'm not sure about the ziplock bags, which we can't get where we live :guilty:. Then the whipped philidelphina with berries, well we can get that or something like it at the Pop but...what about my Hazelnut Creamora non dairy creamer? Yikes! That stuff just tastes like Disney to me now, so I have to have it :goodvibes .

Anyone seen it sold at Everything Pop? Because I don't remember seeing it...

I want to take my portable dvd player on the plane. Is the safe big enough to store it? Thanks to anyone who relpies!!! :goodvibes

Thanks for all the good tips about water and breakfast items. We'll be at POP for 5 nights in 19 days! :woohoo: We're not on the dining plan. I still don't know if I'll do the Staples water or go with one of the grocery delivery services and have water and other things delivered. So has the Staples water delivery worked for everyone? What about grocery delivery? I was looking at Garden Grocer?
Thanks! :)

Hope you have a wonderful time on your first visit to POP!! We've been there twice and have loved so much about both of our stays there! :sunny:

I've noticed many of the windows decorated with various stuffed animals, Peter Pan Dolls, Pooh Hats, Cinderella barbies, Buzz and Woody dolls, etc etc--we have been both times in April, not over a holiday, and I think the kids decorate thteir window spaces with any and all of their favorites!! I know we did!! We even had the experieince (at ASMo) of the mousekeeper decorating our window with our varoius disney toys for us! That was a magical surprise to come home to form the parks that night!! Have fun planning and anticpating all of the fun!!! :goodvibes

Many thanks for the reply DD is going to love this . I may even persuade the two grandads to join in ! :cool1:

If it is as big as or smaller than a laptop computer then it should fit :) !

I took my DD for her 7th bday to Pop for 4 nights. We had a very magical trip. I did the water delivery for my family vacation in Aug at POFQ and it worked great. They only deliver a couple of brands to FL. We got Deer Park or something like that. It only takes like overnight to deliver. I used a britta filter bottle for our May trip. They don't make them any more but someone else does-I think Pur. What I really like about those is that the top of the bottle if big enough to fill the bottle with ice. I would fill it at the food court and then get free ice refills from the counter service places in the parks.

I did purchase a refillable mug. The coffee really is bad. I got my needed caffine from frozen coke. Love that stuff. The Pop refill stations also have apple juice if your DD drinks that.

Have a great trip!!

thank you i need one more thing i need directions to the Pop Century and where i get some info to get the Pop Century location.:mickeyjum :figment:

We haven't stayed at POP in a couple years. Have there been any changes in the last year or two? I don't have time to read through this whole thread, because I have to book our reservation TODAY. DH just informed me yesterday that he wants to take a vacation the first weekend in November so I need to book this asap.

Sandy,
The only changes I can think of is that they have changed the preferred room locations. Instead of all of the 60s being preferred, portions of the 50s, 60s, & 70s are now preferred.

Oh - and the refillable mug design has changed slightly, and there are now hair dryers in each room. Can't think of anything else.

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks Terry. The values don't have refrigerators now do they? Do you know what part of the 70's in preferred. We stayed in the Big Wheel building last time and I was going to request that again.

No complimentary refrigerators for the values still but you can pay for one. Gotta love a cheap cooler. ;)

I am not sure about the preferred rooms. My understanding is that the 'wings' closest to Classic Hall are the preferred location. I don't think any specific information has been put in this thread.

Hope that helps!

Tyler, please correct me if I am misquoting you...

A preferred room is now any room that is within 500 ft walking distance of the classic hall building, taking in to account pathways, walking to the elevator, then from the elevator to your room.

BTW, that makes some of the rooms in the close 80's building "preferred"

I REALLY don't like the change.
