Anyone not staying at a Disney property is free to come in and walk around. You could meet here anywhere on the property. I would suggest right inside the entrance to the Everything Pop Gift Shop or in front of the arcade, two central locations.

Just a note - your friend will most likely be stopped at the guard shack (like everyone else) and asked for her driver's liscence. She can just tell the CM that she's visiting you, and the CM will tell her where to park.

i have a couple of questions

1) is there anywhere i can store luggage after i check out and then pick it up again at around 6pm?

2) i am considering hiring a car half way through my stay. where would i get one of the ID slips that go on the dashboard so security lets me drive the car in?

thank you

Luggage services will store them for you. They will also take it from your room to store it for you, if you make the arrangements the night before or that morning.

At check in , they will ask if you have a car and need a parking pass. Since you may rent a car partway through the stay, just get the pass then. It will save you a trip back. I lost one once, no problem to get another, it's just that you have to wait in line again.

I just found out that I will have to take some meds with me that need to be refrigerated. I heard that Pop doesn't charge you for a fridge if it's for medicine. HOw do I go about getting one. Do I need to call ahead or do I let them know when I get there. Also, do I have to show a Dr.'s note? :confused3
Thanks for any help. I leave next week and I am so excited. :Pinkbounc

I've never been asked for a doctor's note for a refridge.

OT: I know they don't offer coffee makers in the room, but can this be requested? And where are the smoking rooms located? I've been getting conflicting information on this...
Thanks!

i got a fridge for ds22monthsin dec at pop
they never asked for a doctors note and they were great about
i have to say he had never stayed value before and i loved POP
have fun

jzmom,

I made sure that I requested the refrigerator when I made the reservation. I also mentioned it again when I checked in. I have heard that, if a refrigerator is not available, they do have one behind the front desk where they can hold your medication. I also did not need to provide a doctor's note. One reminder though - pack an extra ice pack in your travel cooler because it takes a while for the refrigerator to cool off after it has been plugged in. :)

Thanks for answering my questions. I really appreciate the help. You guys are great. :thumbsup2

Where have you put the baby in the pack in play to sleep?

I don't know if you have already gone on your trip, so sorry if this is a late response... We put the pack and play in many places at POP....between the beds....next to the bathroom wall, between the wall and the bed, and in the area where the sink was, also by the door. There are many places it can fit. We use the one that POP provides, rather than lugging ours on the trip. The POP one seems smaller than the one at our house, so maybe that is why it fits in so many places. Good luck.
We are there 1-31-2/8 if anyone else is there then... see you there!!!!! We will have our green Home Depot Mickey in the window! :woohoo:

Hello all,

We stayed at Pop last July and had a great time. We received lots of good information from this thread. Thanks to all who visit here to help.

If anyone would like to see pictures of Pop, I have a number posted in my galleries. http://www.shutterbook.com/albums/declansdad. If you use the slideshow option there is music to accompany the pictures.

The last day is all pictures from around the resort.

Thank you very much. On that trip I was using a HP Photosmart C812. It was borrowed from a friend to replace my older Kodak. I have now switched to an Olympus SP-310 but it hasn't nade it to WDW yet.

Thanks for all the help!

Let me see if I can help.... If you've never been to POP, this might not help. Maybe someone else can help with a picture. We were in the 70's section right above the Big Wheel.

We walked to the elevators and then made a left out of the elevator and walked back through the back of the T of the 70's building and along the parking lot and then around the front to the bus stops.

Rather than making a right out of the elevators, then going past the Foose Ball players, past the Pop Jets, up to Everything Pop, through the building and back out to the right.

Are you confused yet? :rotfl:
