So does anyone have a pix of the bathroom area? Something has to close off right? I'm having a hard time picturing in my mind nowhere to get dressed, or privacy when using the bathroom? Help please!

There is a door on the bathroom. The bathroom holds the toilet/tub. The vanity area is open to the rest of the room. Sorry, no pics!

Next to the door facing into the room is the vanity with sink and a mirror with a built-in shelf, wall-mounted hairdryer with built-in night light [you can turn it off]. Next to that is the open closet area.

Here's a picture showing it.

In this picture the door to the tub/shower and toilet is not seen, it would be to the right of the sink area.

Here's a picture of behind the closed door...

Is there a hair dryer in all the rooms? (I thought I read someplace that you had to request one.)

As of June 05, I believe there are hair dryers in all of the POP rooms. They were installing them when we were there the first week of June. :)

Thanks for the pictures!!!

It looks to me like you could squeeze the pack in play in the bathroom with the doors closed, but I'll take your guys word for it that it may not be possible. Boo HOO!!

Has anyone tried to hang anything to cover up the vanity area...like a sheet or something to close that area off?

I just saw on another post that someone bought a tension rod to hang up in the doorway to the vanity area and brought an old shower curtain and hung it up so then the area was closed off...think this will work??

You could definitely not fit a pack and play into any of the standard rooms bathroom at POP. You could probably fit a pack n play into the vanity area if you move the luggage rack out of the way and yes you could put a tension bar up there, lots of people have done that.

You might be able to get a pack n play set up IN the bathroom (with the doors closed) but I don't know how you would get out once you did! LOL! And one flush?? Wow - one WIDE AWAKE baby! :teeth:

I don't see why a tension rod/shower curtain thing would not work over the vanity area.

Thanks for the response. One less thing I need to bring.

We are going to POP for our second time the last week of April. (We loved it there!) We won't be arriving until around 6:30pm. Does anyone have the direct number to the front desk for us to call and check to see if our preferences have been met when we are on our way? Our main requests are non-smoking and connecting. My mom is going and she is going to stay in "her" room but have the connecting room door open when our kids are sleeping so that my husband and I can have some evening adult time around the resort. This worked out so well the last time we went and I would be very dissapointed if we didn't get it this time. I was thinking it might be too late for them to make a change if we don't arrive until 6:30 and our requests weren't met but if I called earlier that day, they might be able to move us before we actually get there. Thanks for any helpful information. :bounce:

My 62 year old mom, my 2.5 year old daughter, and my pregnant self are going to be staying at Pop Jan. 31- Feb. 5. :bounce: We requested the preferred building and a non-smoking room. None of us are real good with stairs at this point and I don't know if we want the hassle of using the elevators. So, my question is this- What rooms in the 60's should I request for the quietest ground floor room, closest to Everything Pop and the buses? TIA!

hkite, I just had to say I love your pictures! I am also going to Pop, February 8-13, for a trip with my mom (58) and my two DSs. I am so excited to take my mom to Disney!!! She hasn't been to Disney since 1981. I think we will all cherish the memories for years! ::MinnieMo

Hey H - (How you doing?)
I just looked at the maps on page one and two of this thread, and it looks like if you requested first floor, one of the rooms between 5155 and 5160, you would be facing away from the pool, right next to Goofy's pop jets and just a short walk from the Everything Pop.
Talk to you later!

Thanks Sarah! I should have just asked you first! I love your pathetic ticker!! LOL!

Thanks for your comment on my pictures, mommy22boys (at first I thought you had 22 boys! lol!). I love them, too. My daughter looks practically grown up now compared to those pictures! Have fun with your mom, I know I will!

That site looks so cool! Bring your sunscreen - it's hot in July, compared to where you live. Which, by the way, I want to visit - the country of Scotland! :thumbsup2

i have a couple of questions

1) is there anywhere i can store luggage after i check out and then pick it up again at around 6pm?

2) i am considering hiring a car half way through my stay. where would i get one of the ID slips that go on the dashboard so security lets me drive the car in?

thank you

I am sure Bell Services can hold your luggage for you after you check out of your room.

The Front Desk can give you the ID slip for your car dashboard.

My friend who lives in Florida is planning on meeting us at the hotel on the day we arrive. Will they let her in the actual resort or will we have to meet her out front or something? Where would be a good place to meet if she can't actually come in? Thanks!
