Wow! That looks great! I am so excited to go this comming July :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Have stayed at all 3 All Stars. Passporter says they have 1920 rooms each.
Says PC has 2,880 rooms. That's 960 more rooms with 4-5 folks in each.
The food court and bus system HAS to be LOTS better to accommodate this large difference. Food courts at All Stars were especially crazy for breakfast.
The noise level was always high and you find yourself craving quiet while you try to eat.

DH found the quiet outdoor eating patio at Movies. Is there something (I'm not talking poolside) like that at Pop? It made our breakfasts SO much better once we began eating outside.

I've FINALLY made it to read all 126 pages since Sat, 3/25. Whew!

I made my ressie last night with Sue Ellen at Dreams. Paid my deposit and requested nonsmoking, Tramp, 4th floor, NOT connecting, lake/fireworks view. Let's see what happens. I got my requests at Movies 3 years ago.
I'm going Oct. 2 for 4 nights on a AAA rate of $70.25/night.

I got a quote yesterday from TMFL. I am hoping that she'll book Pop for me today. Keep your fingers crossed that I can get a room! AS Movies was my 2nd choice. I requested 70s B or 50s A, as close to Everything Pop as possible. Should I add a non-connecting room to that?? I never even thought of having a door inbetween me and a neighbor. I thought about requesting 4th floor because I don't like having anyone above me.

I am getting so excited about Pop! :goodvibes I hope I can get a room there (9/12-9/18). The pictures make it look like such a fun place, and I love the mugs. Thanks for posting all of the photos.

I'll update if we book! :mickeyjum

I must thank the previous 125 pages of posters :goodvibes for all the information big and small and all the pictures too.

My amazing wife has planned a WDW extravaganza (sp) for the first week of May at POP with a multitude of planned meals for my DD7 & DS3, parents in-law and the two of us...

I'm curious about the park strollers cost and parking. My 3 year old would probably be more comfortable but where do you put it while everyone is on a ride, or go into a food area? Am I too worrisome about it being taken? pirate:

Also I'm curious how strictly the parks height requirements are enforced. My son is 37", but with some roller skate shoes (skates removed) he's 39". 40" seems to be the magic number for a majority of rides should I continue to hang him by his feet (just kidding)?

I think they are pretty strict about height requirments for safety reasons and insurance reasons. There are areas by the rides that you can park your stroller. You will see lots of strollers there.

Strollers cost 7.00 a day i believe, and YES they are strict in height requirements... they check them more than once if they don't think someone is tall enough... i had a little girl in fromt of me get checked 3 different times on the Rock n roll Rollercoaster... i was like what do you think she shrunk in the time it too her to walk to you????????? lol

There are two entrances to the food court/gift shop at Pop - directly from outside and from the lobby of Classic Hall. By the outside doors, there are tables for outside dining. If it is still too noisy or busy for you, the pool side tables are just a few yards away. Hope that helps!

MickeynMinnie - Thanks for posting those pictures! I like the new mugs!

hunter.deal - as the others have mentioned, they are very strict about the height requirements. It has taken many trips for my ds to finally be tall enough to ride all of the rides at WDW, but it was okay because it added another layer of excitement to each trip. Which new ride could he do this time? ;) Have fun!

I can't see any of the pictures either. There's little red X's on them. :confused3

Are the only certain buildings at the pop that have adjoining rooms? We are booking 2 rooms for our trip and I wanted to make sure that this was possible in the 70's or 50's buildings.

Great pictures! Thanks so much for posting them. Pop looks so colorful and fun! :goodvibes

all buildings have CONNECTING rooms, which is what you want to ask for if you want rooms that have an inside door between them... adjoining rooms are rooms that are simply next to each other :)
