Can anyone tell me how POP is in late June? I have been reading how crazy, busy it is....March was busy, but never seemed crowded by the pool areas etc...food court , yes in the a.m., but that is to be expected.
My thought was requesting our rooms to be poolside 60's...I like the idea of havinf the outdoor table/chairs/umbrella steps from your room in the mornings!
However, now I am concerned abt the pool being open to midnight and that might not be the best spot. We just stayed 60's lakeside, around the corner from the Play Doh icon and loved the location.
Any thoughts? Appreciate it!

Not sure about June,but my brother was there last July(4th weekend) and said it really wasn't that bad..... I would imagine June would be a little better, cause we all know how crowded July can be!!

Oh and guess what, 1 day to leave, 2 days til POP!!!!!!!!!!

well, the time is almost here. We're leaving tonight and we'll be at the POP tomorrow!!
We'll be back Sunday night, but most likely will wait til Monday to give you the full review!!

I might be wrong, but I think your supposed to keep the swap info on the budget board. Yo ucan direct people there, but I think the actaul inof is supposed to be just on that board. Just to let you know so you don't get a warning. I got a warning recently on something really dumb that I didn't even know I did.. I think it just depends who is moderating, but you might want to edit your post.

hi! just wondering! me and my friends are stayin at pop hopefully in june of 2008 and we were wondering about the deposit do u have to pay it right away or can u just reserve and pay the deposit when u get there?!!? and u get the deposit money back at the end of the stay right!?!? just wonderin cause me and my friends never have stayed in a hotel cause were under 18, but we will be 18 when we go!?!

If you are booking a room only reservation (not a package) I think you gotta pay for the first night when ya book, then you can pay the rest anytime between now and when you are there...have fun and welcome to the boards!

Hi all - just wanted to subscribe to the thread....

I am booking a preferred room at Pop the week after Thanksgiving...Mon 11/26 through Sun 12/2, 2007. This will be our first time staying at Pop...I'm excited!!

I hope this is a good time of year to go!!

I know that this is probably in the FAQ *somewhere*, but can sometime tell me please...
Are there coffeemakers in the POP rooms? We plan on getting refillable mugs, but sometimes a coffepot might be nice.

And we're going March 29-April 7...what on Earth could we have been thinking? SPRIIIIIIIIIIIING BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAK... !
And DUH...I didn't even think of this until tonight...are there any fridge swaps available for our dates? lmao: Yeah, yeah...stop snickering...I didn't even THINK of a swap until I stumbled across a swap thread on the Budget Board.)

You pay a deposit when booking, to hold the room until you pay it off. I think it is one night for room only, $200 for a package (w/tickets). It is part of your total payment.

Room only balance can be paid in full at arrival, package is 45 days in advance.

And no, you don't get any money back when you leave. LOL Don't I wish.

Being that you are only 18 they may still have you pay in full before you get there. Some hotels won't let people that age in as well. It's been a while since Iwas 18,but I remember getting a hotel and it was a bit of a hassle back then. I would call and ask how they will handle it.

i was gonna say that. i remember on my senior trip we had to put our hotel in someone's mom's name and on her credit card because they wouldn't let us. back then i think you had to be 23 or something wierd like that.

Hello! I booked at Pop Century for Dec 8th to 19th. I booked through AAA and paid $65.60 per night. I put in a requset for a non smoking room, with a fridge, and requested the Epcot View. Hopefully, I'll be able to get this. Last time we were at WDW we stayed at ASMu and our only request was a non smoking room and we didn't get that. Oh well.
