Hmmm...so I wonder where we get something now that has all the show times on it. Just found some old ones and they say Times Guide & New Information at the top. One for each park for the week. Lists all the show times, character greeting times, etc. Same size as the maps, but a single cardstock sheet.

Yes, one for each park for that week. I don't know how far in advance you can get these. But there is a link somewhere on here that has the showtimes, but I believe you can only get them a week before.

I'm curious about this also! We will be staying 7 nights, and I really dread sleeping on a hard worn out mattress for that long!

We stayed for 9 night's the bed's were fine. The pillows probably could have used some help.

I didn't have a problem with the beds and thought it was comfortable but have heard complaints from others who didn't like them.

As for the times guide I don't think AK is correct since it says 5 minutes but is farther from the resort than DS, Epcot, or BB. I would say AK is about 15 minutes if BB is 10 since the bus stops at BB before AK there first. I would also say DS is about 5 minutes away since it is closest and always seemed to take about 5 minutes.

The beds when we went in Aug 06 weren't that bad. If you need extra pillows just call the desk, or if your driving like we are, bring an extra for each person then they can be used in the vehicle and at the hotel. Just don't bring them in plain white pillow cases because then they will get mixed up with theirs and you want to be able to take your own pillows home with you.

Besides we are there to have a good time and enjoy the parks. So don't sweat the small details. Relax and have a ball!!:wizard: ;)

Yes, you are correct 15 mins. I must have miss the "1".

Also, what is it? MK, Epcot and Studios have there own bus. While BB and AK share. And D'town and TL share. I couldn't remember.

You can get a times guide at the park each day. If you want to plan in advance, you can look here: http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/

Yep that's the way it was when we were there last September.

Hmmm...so where do the strollers GO in the bus? In the aisle? We'll have TWO with strollers and I'm still not sure if i was to bring 2 separate ones or just one double. :confused3 I'm guessing one double is easier, eh?

You will be asked to fold it up if the bus is not packed you will get away with leaving it open if not it gets folded and the child rides on your lap! It is mush easier to fold it though because ppl will bump into it etc...

This worked for us last year. We had 2 full size strollers. We had 1 bag, 2 boys and 2 strollers. When buses were packed and coming often, we would wait to board the next bus. When we got on an emptier bus, we'd slide the strollers under the seats that face the side, towards the back, then sit in these seats. These are the seats that are for wheelchairs and ECV's, so of course if the seats are needed for that reason, this will not work. We could fit both there, as 1 folded like and umbrella, but larger. We also waited until the bus was empty to leave so we weren't bumping into others. Many times other guests would happily offer to help carry a stroller off of the bus, which is a nice bonus! You meet the nicest people in Disney.
We like 2 strollers so we can separate if needed.
Good luck!

That's what I was thinking too...although dh LOVES to sleep in and I think there may be a few mornings I take the girls to EMH on my own for a few hours --- I THINK my 4yr would be ok walking on her own for 2-3 hrs (she's 2 1/2 now and isn't a fan of the stroller....) but I keep thinking that MAYBE I'll regret not having a double.

 Does anyone know if they still have CMs set up at tables at the bus stop to give out schedules & maps for the parks? TIA

I was there the last two Marches and never saw it. So maybe it depends how busy they area?

Can someone tell me how long it takes to get from POP to Animal Kingdom, DHS and DTD? We plan to go in EARLY Dec..not sure how crowded it will be during that time frame.

ALSO what do you do with strollers when you get on the bus? Do they have some storage space or do they come on the bus with us?

ALSO how crowded are the busses from POP in early Dec? Standing room only or not so bad?

THANKS!

Stollers have to be folded up and carried on with you. I would assume early Dec. is not that busy, but during the busy hours of the days they load all buses up to standing room only.
On the firt post their is a trip calculator that approximates how long it takes to get to each place and suggested routes. Form Pop to DTD it doesn't take to long, as it was always the first stop for us, but the way back took longer as it made a few other stops. And for me, we had to wait forever for the bus to even get there to pick us up.

As you walk int othe parks they have them all around. Just ask to be pointed to them if you can't find them. Each park has it's own info. I would pick one up each morning. It had show times, and character meet and greets and parade info, etc.

Sorry if this topic has been covered already...I wasn't able to look through all the pages in this post.

Anyway, we are headed to WDW for Thanksgiving week and will be staying at Pop. I've read in other posts about how the beds in some of the value resorts are really hard and uncomfortable. Now I'm getting a bit nervous. Are the beds at Pop really that uncomfortable?

Can anyone soothe my nerves about this?

I have a really bad back and at most hotles I can't even sleep in there beds, and alot of times bring along an airmatress. I have stayed at Pop twice, and so far had wonderful matresses. I have also heard if it is really bad you can call and they will either change your room or bring in a new mattress.

It;s not cardstock either. Jsut a sheet of paper. I'll look later on and see if I can find one of mine and scan it.

They are not allowed to leave the strollers oepn for safety reasons. I have seen ONE left open once, but they usually make you fold it, even if yo uare the only person on the bus, and even if your child is asleep in it. This happened to DH and he had no clue how to even fold it up. LOL! The busdriver helped him.

As for a double stroller, thats up to you. I they are two seats that sit one in front and on in back that is better. But the side by side ones are impossible to manuver in the park and you can't get through any doors.
