Hello everyone! I had to cancel my September trip, Because I will be moving at the end of this month to Disney World Season pass the first week in April
I am so excited I wanted to share it with you all. No more cold, ice, snow for me, will never come back to Dayton, Ohio, just for visits with the family in the summer

We are in Monroe, MI. Funny there is a few posters from right around that area....and we all love POP!!
I guess we know a good thing huh?

Thanks everyone for the congrats....The reason I am moving to Orlando is because I have found my x-husband after 26 years we are getting back together and have found a wonderful apartment just 20 mins away from the great place of all.
He has been living in orlando for the last 20 years ---- So if you ever want to look for someone please use your facebook account --- It works.

Dreagirl...Hi...I just added my requests yesterday, after making the reservation almost a week ago!
We are going May 17th!! The last time we were there was October and made requests before hand and got them ALL!!! Top floor, bld 3, lake view!!
I think they really try and accommodate! Have a great trip!! We are so excited!!

Congrats! I kind of did the same thing. In 2007, after 8 years, me and my ex-husband got back together. We are planning to get married next year and we are happier than ever before. Good luck to you both! I wish you the best!

Just booked our 4th stay at POP this one our longest at 12N/11 days!!! WooHOO!!!!! We are very excited. This is my daughter's favorite resort, and we used the QNY pin and got a great deal, so we are all in and can't wait to get on that plane to Florida in August!!!!!

This will be my first visit to POP. It will just be me and the kids.

Do you have any recommendations for a room location? I'd like something close to the bus stop/food court yet not secluded. It's my first time traveling with my two boys and I'm a little concerned about safety, specifically returning to our room in the evenings. I have no interest in an Epcot fireworks view or lake view. I guess you can say I want to be in a populated area, quite the opposite of a traditional request!

I have a request in my reservation for "1st floor, close to bus".

I'm not at all familiar with the resort!

You didn't say if you requested prefereed rooms ?? These are closer to the food court !!I have stayed solo in both 60's and 50's on the 1st floor with NO trouble !!! If you check out the 1st thread you will find a map of the resort to help you!! I would say 60's or 70's would be the best !!! 50's can be a distance from both!!

Pop is a small resort, so there really isn't anywhere that is secluded. We always felt very safe.

I went by myself with the kids in 2008, they put us in the 60's section lakeview non preferred. We were on the second floor. Real close to everything, I felt real safe. I would suggest a higher floor, it feels safer to me. I have booked 10 nights at Pop in June can't wait. Going again just me and the kids. Have fun!!!!!!
