We have been talking about renting a car for a couple of days to see NASA and family and we were wondering if we could rent a car right at POP or whether we have to do it off site? anyone know? Thanks for any information on it!

I think there is a rental place at the car care center, and also downtown disney but not pop.

Anyone done Online Check in for Pop yet?

I tried and tried to do on-line check in but I kept getting an error, so finally gave up. When we checked in last week, there was an on-line check in area, but no one was waiting in it.

My experience also. Hopefully, they'll get the kinks worked out. If anybody else has better luck, please let us know!

Okay! Okay! I know this is a strange question, (and also I apologize if it's already been asked )

But I have a question about the doors at POP. Are they magnetic?? And also what are the dimensions. So you've probably already guessed by this silliness that I want to decorate my door and window
I would like to put up a Mickey Mouse Banner on my door, but want to make sure it is not too big!!

According to post #1 there is wired ethernet internet at Pop but my TA says there is no internet in the rooms and only scattered Wi-Fi hot spots at the hotel. Can someone clarify this for me?

Alamo also has locations on the Walt Disney World property at the Car Car Center, Dolphin Hotel near Disney's BoardWalk and Buena Vista Palace near Downtown Disney.

I got the confirmation to the POP Century For May and it's online!

We just got back and there is internet access in each room. They have a special cable to hook up. I heard that it is $10/day.

There is wired internet in all the Pop Rooms no wireless in any rooms to my knowledge. They provide a wire in each room in the closet area, it is on a hanger in a bag or you can bring your own for your laptop. The charge is $9.95 per day for a 24 hour period and they put it on your room charge (only way to pay that I know of). The connection is high speed probably T1 according to my DH. We use it most every trip to stay in touch and send out photos

We were there the same time! You should check out my trip report (link in my signature) and see if I took any random opics of you. LOL!
I did alot of early morning strolling too, so maybe I passed you a time or two.


Enjoyed the pics----nope, didn't see myself of my husband lurking in the background of your shots!!!!

We didn't bring our usual camera----and picked up a more compact one for this trip. We did get some good pictures---but not as good as we would have had we dragged along our other camera. . . Was disappointed in how a lot of our Pop 'icons' came out-----then again, it was early a.m. and a little dark at times. We never came back during the day to take advantage of the sunlight!

Yes. They usually fit nicely between the table and the window, and there is an outlet right there.

This is what I was looking for. I don't know where our TA got her info from. I don't think we'll use it everyday but we're tossing around bringing our laptop. This way we can watch movies as well. DS only watches Handy Manny and Cars on demand so we want to bring his dvd's. Thanks everyone for the info.
