can someone please direct me to a link which shows pictures of how people decorate their windows at the resorts?
I am creatively challanged so I would like to get some ideas by visuals.
I cannot search the board since there is no search function :sad2: and when I do a google search I only get one thread which is pretty small.

I figure there has got to be other links out there.

TIA:yay:

I was wondering....I am travelling with a 6yr old, hubby and baby 11months (3 kids!) do you think there will be enough room to put a pack and play and a fridge in the room at the same time? Also last time 6yr old rolled out of bed a couple of times so im worried about putting the pack and play between the beds incase he lands on the baby. Any thoughts or ideas? thanks.
ps this thread is awesome...we are going 1st week in May and are so excited after reading everthing here...thanks again. Oh and I would love to see pics of rooms decorated too. Our Dollar tree has disney clings.

I don;t have a link to a thread but when we went to WDW on our honeymoon I made our own clings for our windows and bought a few at the store. I bought a crayola window cling making set and printed some images online and I just traced them with the set. It worked out really well and we had some really cute pics of Minnie & Mickey holding hands and a few other things. We had a lot of fun decorating our resort room door as well. I'll post a pic (even though it's from our cruise we used the same magnets on our resort room door later in the trip)

Yup, no problem. We put the frig next to the table, and the pack and play next to the fridge, between the table and the windo.
If that makes sense.

On another note- This morning I booked 4 standard rooms at Pop with Free Dining for Sept. 20-28.
:cool1:  :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

Yeah, I'm excited. LOL

Yeah, I'm excited. LOL

I just booked FD at Pop for 9/25 - 9/29! We'll see you there!:woohoo:

Re: where to put fridge and pack and play....

The last couple of times we were there, we put the fridge under the bathroom vanity on the right (I think) and the cord reached up and over to plug in. Not a problem, and it was out of the way. That way we had room for our pack and play next to the table and didn't feel too squished.

We leave in 14 days! Woo hoo! Can't wait to get back to POP!

Consider it a promise! You're right about the scammers, and it is difficult find these positions. Try www.careerbuilder.com - last yr they had a few reputable companies seeking at home customer service. If you have top of the line experience, sometimes AMEX looks for at home agents and managers. I know of others, but cannot remember right now - will PM if I think of them. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much

So who else is going to Pop in a week? I'll be there April 5th

I wish! :rolleyes1

We used window clings from Target. They were in the card section on an end cap

You could ask for bed rails for your 6 YO

We have requested bed rails for all of our trips and gotten them each time. The first time they were still in the plastic when they were delivered. Mousekeeping put them on the bed when they were delivered.

They were the kind that fold down, so during the day it looked like a normal bed.

Can someone tell me which sweeteners are in the food court, as I prefer Splenda, so will bring my own if needed. Thanks!

They definitely have splenda heres a pic for you!

Re: the window decorating, doyou think it will be OK if I use scotch tape to hang my decs up? I have this whole Happy 6th Birthday idea in my mind, but since I will do the graphics myself on the computer, I don't want to do clings.... I promise to peel all the tape off the windows before I leave :goodvibes

Unfortunately Kristin, I think tape is a big no-no. In fact, I saw far less window and door decorations this last trip to POP than I ever have.

I'd suggest lamenating your graphics off the computer and afixing magnets to the back if they are going on the door, or if they will go on the windows, laminate and thread a string through a small hole in them and hang with suction cups. I'd hate for mousekeeping to report you. They'll ask you to remove them if there is scotch tape involved.
All the laminating/suction cups/magnets can be purchased in AC Moore or Michael's. They actually sell magnetic paper----pricey, but comes out nice. I used that to decorate my Disney Magic door with.

Oh wow Melanie....you were there with all the cheerleaders ! I was at POP the same time, but a friend and coworker was at ALL Star Sports for the cheerleading competitions. They were there 3/19 to 3/24. There were LOTS of them !!! We left the MK on 3/20 around 3 pm because of them....it was too much for us......:rotfl:

Anyone know if they still have the ping pong tables? I swear I never remember seeing them, lol.

How about the lego's near the luggage check in- Seems like a tripping danger, lol. I got this info from post #1 of this thread.
