On Safari in the open Savannah. After the termite mounds where your truck takes the right hand road it's on the rock on the right hand side

Thanks for the tip. I watched several videos on youtube, and caught glimpses of the marker. Then, I got somewhat lucky and saw this - and grabbed a still from the video

marker.jpg

I *think* it says 9km, but its still somewhat hard to read.

I'll go with 22km. I had no conviction about that little picture - it was a guess...

Alright. I've been spending my weekends going to the parks trying to refind all these answers. So far the only one I've completed is animal kingdom. I believe question #41 is rows 39-45 not 36, and #89 the final answer you get is the Festival of The Lion King

DH and I have a question that's been bugging us. Number 91 from EPCOT. The first part of that question said go to the Innoventions exhibit sponsored by Underwriter's Laboratories and then the second part said go to the other attraction that features those stars. Who were the stars?

Off to the side in the Underwriters exhibit is a little show starring Timon and Pumba, this then leads you to the circle of life show, to garden grill resturant, and finally chip and dale on the sign. I could never find it the day of the hunt. I went back the other day and my friend happened to notice it.

As a followup to the epcot question, here are Timon and Pumba as your safety reps:

Thanks so much! This has been bugging us since the hunt!

There are two questions that are still driving me nuts. The first is the question from epcot about a doll petting what animal.

http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg8/wdwmemories/2WO/epcot-germany-disney-picture-063.jpg

Okay, I found this picture, and if you enlarge the photo, move all the way down, and most of the way to the right, you can see a shelf with some toys on it. On the left of the shelf, under the wing of the airplane, there appears to be a doll petting a lamb. That's what I remember seeing during the hunt....

But is this the right answer? Will we ever know?''

The other one that's bugging me is the lone unanswered question in the AK. Where is that rock that tells us the distance to the lodge?

we found the doll on the day of the hunt and put "sheep" as our answer - wonder if they counted that or just lamb. It's funny I thought we had everything right that we actually got to but I'm finding that even though we thought we were being careful we still got some wrong.

As for the giraffe parking lot - I do agree with the 39 - 45. We only got that because we had parked in giraffe a few days earlier and had a great AK back tram person (shout out to Beth) who let DD make the giraffe noise (from the Lion King) so it stood out in my head.

Question is where in the park were people supposed to find that info? I don't remember the parking lot numbers anywhere.

I'm new to the boards, so I apologize if this was already asked. My sister and I participated with two other friends. I was mostly responsible for writing down answers. Did anyone else find it misleading the space and number of lines the answer book had for certain questions. Some led me to believe I was supposed to have shorter/longer answers. For example a question would say what three things.....but there would only be two lines.

yes, in fact I found that to be annoying. They'd ask for 3 things but only give 2 lines. Or have one line for a longish answer (like give the whole name of something). I just wrote below the line but it would have been easier/ clearer IMO if the 'correct' number of lines had been given. I don't have the neatest handwriting to start with so I was trying to write neatly/ clearly and extra room would have been appreciated in some cases.

Welcome to DISboards

It could be that its a sheep, rather than a lamb. I made an assumption, and they may have only counted one or the other.

The giraffe parking lot: that was an odd question, since it was technically outside the park. I googled it to get the answer - I was assuming there was a sign somewhere in the park?

And if the plan was just to get it to 95 questions, then why not add a 95th question to the MK??!!

The lines on the form drove me crazy too! There was a note somewhere in the margin that said "don't write in this space" - but with longer answers, did you really have a choice? They could have left a little more space, I suppose.

OK questions for MK, AK and DHS are all done

Davey do you (or your friend) have any better pictures of some of the Epcot pages - the first two and a few later on are hard to read but most of them are great.

thanks

I didn't have any other pictures.

But very oddly, a friend had pictures of just the first 2 pages - go figure!

So, I updated the pdf...

(our lucky day, I suppose)

I'm looking to see if I can find any others.
