#93 was the 13 oscars back in (animation courtyard-post Magic of Animation) can't remember the top one, thought it was 1937 but certainly someone has a picturehttp://www.**************.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/5480854851_1932cf7c8112.jpg
Found a pic but can't read it.

Does anyone know where the George Bailey box is? It's a component to the answer for #83 in DHS - I still hadn't found it before I left WDW and it's going to bug me until fall...

Norway had the sign with the crown, which is found in the UK Rose and Crown, which has the red phone booths nearby. Canada is the other pavilion with a red phone booth. Never noticed it before

Where exactly is the other phone booth in Canada? We saw the phone booth outside the Rose and Crown and knew that there were 3 more, but I thought they were still in the UK. We decided that those 3 booths were kind of between the UK and Canada so we wrote "Canada". I figured there had to another one somewhere but we had to go turn our books back in and didn't get to check.

It is gone, I found a picture on the web that I posted in the other thread (original scavenger hunt thread). I think the box might be there but the address was painted over.

Walk way back into Canada and it is in the back near the Circle Vision entrance.

The answers are coming together great!!! There are just a few left - if anyone knows them, please jump in!!!

All 4 answers sheets are on page 1; the questions are in a link on page 1.

My key is:
?? means that I (or whoever provided the answer) think its right. But we're not certain
A blank entry means we have no response
[] indicates that we have a partial solution, but haven't "solved it" yet.

MK #93, it led to the Tea Party, where there was an obvious quotation plaque, but I forget who the quote was by.

Ah yes, very good. You must mean this sign:

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_cXDwJoIBmhU/S1xLK18IvsI/AAAAAAAADEg/8frf7neeg5U/s1600-h/IMG_2701.JPG

BTW:
This sign is part of the tribute that Disney World has created in memory of Dr. Randy Pausch, the Carnegie Mellon Professor who is most widely known for his "Last Lecture."

Disney's connection to Dr. Pausch is that he was actually a Disney Imagineer for a period starting around 1995 as he took a sabbatical from his teaching at Carnegie Mellon to fulfill a lifelong dream. He served in the Disney Imagineering Virtual Reality Studio. After he completed his sabatical he continued the relationship with Disney and provided students for the Imagineering Intern program and served occasionally as a consultant.

Finally, back home and working on going through this. I have some answers not given, and some answers that were given that we had different. There were some other different answers, but after reviewing the questions I see that there were times I apparently could not read, and even though we were in the right location, we gave the wrong thing. Frustrating! And other times when I was given a "shortened" answer to write done, not the whole thing...like "star" instead of "little star" or 498 not US-498. So eventually, I would like to have video documentation for everything, but I'm anal that way. :lmao:

1. The Band Concert - I think this is correct, we didn't answer during hunt day, but when we went back on a latter date, there is a sandwich board marquee on the left side of the cinema, but it's kind of hard to read, because it is a black & white sign

18. The words on the patch were Reedy Creek Emergency Services with Fire Services in the inner part. They also have a Fire Services patch, so I'm not exactly sure what words they wanted, so I wrote it all down, but I'm not sure RCFD is right.

80. Nani - Lilo's sister
83. Maharajah Jungle Trek - they wanted the attraction name, not just the unscrambled word. This type of differentiation got us a couple of times too. :badpc:

Thanks for all your help. Many pictures are online and lead to answers, or perhaps a "memory of the answer"...but nothing beats looking for them in person without trying to beat the clock.

As I look back on it now, I think the biggest challenge in the hunt (not to downplay the time constraint of course) was trying to figure out what, specifically, they wanted as an answer. That was tricky. And with the time issues, that was doubly hard.

I heard from a friend who did the hunt who thought his team had gotten in the 800-point range but they didn't make the top 20. In retrospect, he thought maybe some of the answers might have been not what they were looking for and/or the question misled them slightly.

I have a number of attractions on my ipod as well, and I'm familiar with most of the scripts, so those were fun. :)

First, let me say I'm so glad someone started this thread. I searched and searched after getting home from this to see if anybody was smart enough to take pictures of their books. We obviously weren't. Anyway we had a great time and hope they do it again.

Wanted to share some answers but I don't have pictures as proof so they are from memory. If anyone can back me up, that would be great.

Studios:
13. Kronk hosts the Digital Ink and Paint experience. I think they're talking about the kiosks you can play with like the SoundStage and You're a Character.

37. Don't remember the right answer. University of something something. The answer that's currently listed is actually for number 40.

62. Don't know the answer. The answer listed is for 36.

94. We thought this one was tricky and put the Hollywood Hills Amphitheatre as the right answer. Of course, there's no way of telling what they were marking as the right answer.

This park was my favorite and unfortunately our first so we missed more than we should of since we didn't have our system down yet.

It was a great time and hopefully "will see you all again" at the next one. (In quotes since I'm wondering how many of you I really did see.)

Glad to help out. I loved the event, and look forward to doing it again. The leading indicator to me of how much fun I had is that I'm still thinking about it several weeks later. :) Yes, I'm a little obsessed.

I was standing in the magic kingdom (my first park) with the book and thought "why don't I take pictures of it?" - I only wish that I had taken advantage of those pictures, since in effect we now had two books to reference, and I probably could have done more with it.

Anyway, good catch on the answers. I've updated the list on page 1. If anyone else sees anything, please let me know. The one thing I know for sure is that I make mistakes. But I have a sense of humor about it, and don't take it personally...

Here's some 'corrections':

11) we got Donald & Pluto
54) Findmores & Searchwells
57) definitely B. Jones
60) we got Walter E. Disney

I agree 100%. It's all I want to talk about to anybody who will listen!
