I had an interesting HS experience...We moved in the 10th grade and I took it hard....I acutally went to 4 high schools, one of which was only 1 day. At the time it did not seem so strange, but looking back now....people must have thought I was NUTS!!!

I went to Christ The Kings Prom in 1976 because my boy friend at the time also went there. They had the prom at the plaza hotel in nyc. It was really nice. Was your Church St Benny's they are having a big reunion coming up.

Yes I remember the kichen sink. (You're right about the one in Beaches & cream being smaller) Boy were we nasty everyone eating out of the same dish. Good times! LOL

i cant believe your post. i went to Christ the Kings prom in 75. i also frequented Glenns Bar and shared many a kitchen sink at Jahn's. Small world isnt it. Good Times they were!!
i lived in Foerst Hills and Glendale before migrating out east

tha amazing thing about this is not one person here from my h.s. which is in New York City, population 8 million plus, and i read about 2 previous posts of people who went to Dekalb hs and live down the block from Dekalb hs. Dekalb Ill. population considerably less then 8 million.


at least i got to read about Christ the King HS.i had many friends who went there.

Three months later and this thread is alive. It may disappear for a few days, but someone always bumps it back up. I had no idea when I first posted it that this thread would be so successful. Its been neat to see that some people have found other DISers who went to High School with or near them. I am still hoping some more Vermonters who went to high school in the late 70's will post.
