If you go to a recent thread about a 'problem with a co-worker' re body odor, the banner ads on the first page are hilarious. But, it made me wonder...why it is acceptable for the v word to be used when that is a filtered on here? (as in 'get rid of fishy v odor'...I swear, that is what it says. Please don't shoot the messenger, I am just repeating what I saw. :confused3

what are you talking about
When you open threads, at the bottom and top of the page are three small boxes with ads in them...they usually pertain to something mentioned in the thread. If you open the "Issues with a coworker" thread, on the first page, the ads are funny...in a smelly, stinky kind of way.

I think it's funny how the google ads match the topics. And you are right about the ones that appear on that thread. WOW!

Maybe if we offer up some money to say dirty words we could?

FWIW, I did not start this thread to be bad or offensive, just really curious about what content is allowed?

I love how "fishy ******l odor" is combined with saving wildlife. LOL

thats ok wendy,, several threads have ads in forgien language's tonight.

dumb blonde quetstion here, but I don't see these aforementioned banner ads on my screen. Where the heck are they?

well I guess I'm not special enough becuase the only thing I see is the standard
« Previous Thread | Next Thread »
then the quick reply option

There is a thread about a coworker smelling bad and the google ads are towards the top of that page. The google ads seem to customize to the topic at hand.

I must have some setting on my computer set to not allow the ads or something because I'm using FF, but I just tried IE and netscape and the ads did not show up.

Although I did notice with IE that tags show up in different colors than they do in FF.

I am not seeing anything either.... :confused3 I even went to the Thread in question and no ADS on there either.... :confused3

hmm on my pages, and dws, there is a row of google ads at the top of each page and between the last post and the quick reply,,,

I use FF and they show up - On this thread, the ads are Animal Kingdom Lodge and Vacation: Compare & Save

lol not that I want to look at banner ads, but I'm glad it is not just me. The only ads I see are the ones for S&D on the Resorts board, The FL tours one on Tranporation board, and the one for TGM on top of the TPA board.

I can't see any ads but that's because I have Adblock on my FF. When I use IE I can see it.
