Hi, all. I came back from Bozeman with a sinus infection with sore throat and fever. I am trying to fight it with Sudafed and sinus flushes. I don't want to run to the doctor for antibiotics so early in the season.

Theresa, on PBS last night I saw an advertisement for a new Nova program that will be shown in November. It is Nova: The Bible's Buried Secrets. It will cover a scientific search for proof of the history of the Jews and their worship of "one god", most of the proof being archeological. It looked really interesting from what I saw last night. You should check and see if you can find it in your local area.

Hello??? Anybody out there? ​

I'm here! I have been horribly, horribly busy. Well.....not really but I hate to admit what I've really been up to. I have just discovered the "Twilight" series of books and have been completely useless the last week. I did go to the library this morning and picked up the last one so my fascination with literature written for teenage girls should be over soon.

Nope, It's an addiction. There should be a 12 step program for this stuff. ( Having read the whole series more than a couple times in the last month, downloaded the audiobooks, and seriously trying to stave off the anxiety attack awaiting the movie on 11/21)

My DH is beginning to feel like "the other man" in my life.

I have so wanted to do this- except my DS13 would probably disown me. He cannot stand the book series. Guess it's because he's a teenage boy!

I know I haven't been on the chat for-ehvah, but I hope y'all will let me post anyway. I have missed chatting with you guys, I don't know what happened to me! Anyway, I see madd has already told you what we were doing, so I will post that YES, we met and had lunch today!!

madd is such a cool person!! But you already suspected that.. She is EXACTLY like she in on the boards, a little crazy, and super super nice! Her DH was there, too..he is a cutie, and so nice and laid back. He let us go on and on about Disboards, and so-and-so, and freebies, and Disney..He never rolled his eyes..NOT ONCE!!! We hung out at the restaurant for 2 hours, I could have stayed there talking to them all day.. She is so easy to talk to and funny, I wish she lived here..

Anyway, I wanted to come over here and make everyone JEALOUS..as you should be ..I will let madd post the pictures, since I beat her to the punch to tell y'all about lunch...I had such a nice time...

HRH- I'm sooooo jealous. But I'm glad ya'll had fun. I think it's so cool that one can make "real" friends on a message board.

Lori-I finished the last book yesterday and loved everything. Do you know if she ever plans to do any follow-up concerning Jacob and Renesmee? Does your DH need to worry about Jacob or Edward being the other man? Edward sounds a little "cold" to me. I imagine Jacob as being oh so sexy.

jeankeri- Do not let your DS keep you from reading them, they are awesome.

I got a HUGE box of stuff for the Arm & Hammer Green Party. I haven't been through it all yet, all I can think is that now I have no excuse not to clean.

Ummm, a lifetime of cleaner, I think. I haven't opened it all up yet. I saw the bags and the microfiber cloths. I heard there were 18 each: A&H cleaners and Fridge deoderizers. I might be able to spare a bag for a good friend. I'd send ya cleaners but they'd be a pain to ship. (That and you might feel compelled to clean something and I don't want to be responsible for that!)

I'm back! I'm back!

Savannah had some interesting sights! I found this lady wandering around Bay Street and DH and I invited her to have lunch with us @ the Moon River Brewery!!! She said yes!


Joking- IT'S HRH!!!!!!

We had a great time @ lunch! We talked, talked, and talked some more! I had fun! DH is a mellow guy- he would never roll his eyes at us He is the kind of guy that just "goes with the flow" Heck, he has no choice, he lives with me every day of his life

After lunch, we said our goodbyes to HRH and walked around town a bit and we ended up going to Bonaventure! OMG- this place is magnificient! HRH I got a few pics of Johnny's grave site for you! (need to add pics- but right now- my Photobucket $UCK$!!!!! will add later)


Our place was adorable. Our room was more like an appt than an Inn- we had out own entrance, 2 bedrooms, a sitting area (which was VERY dated and not meaning dated as in 1800- dated as in 1970!- they could use some period furniture in the sitting area) but the bedrooms were beautiful! It had a full kitchen, 2 full baths and a washer a dryer! (I kept up with our wash and only came home with a small bag of dirty clothes!)

The Innskeeper and his wife were so nice. We had a full kitchen and they stocked the fridge with what we wanted and made sure our cake dish was filled with home made goodies every day!


We would come back just to rest up around 5pm every night- Forsyth Park was RIGHT across the street, so we would walk through the park and take a seat on one of the many benches in front of the fountain and watch everyone jog- and walk their dogs

Walking through the streets of Savannah was just amazing! It was so fun to just see the homes- look at these steps and the chandelier is great!!

We would walk all day long just admiring the beautiful homes and the wrought iron work and peek into gates to see what was lurking behind them. (need to add pics- but right now- my Photobucket $UCK$!!!!! will add later)

The moss, though we know not to touch it or else- CHIGGERS! was beautiful just hanging from all of the trees.

I made sure we walked though Colonial Cemetery which is walking distance from our place, at night- I wanted to try and get pics of something- I am wondering what this flash is on the bottom of the pic- and not to mention all of the orbs in BOTH pics! How cool is that!? CHOCK FULL 'O ORBS if you ask me!!!!!

I might send these pics to Shannon Scott- he is the owner of one of the ghost tours in Savannah, The Sixth Sense. He might be able to tell me if they are BS or not! And NO! We did NOT get to do a ghost tour DH's back was hurting him the night we were supposed to go- so me, being a good wife cancelled the tour and we did not get to reschedule

We will certainly be back, this was our 2nd trip and it is one our favorite places! Who knows, maybe we will rent a place for next winter

We were supposed to leave Savannah on Friday and head over to Williamsburg- but the weather was supposed to be rainy Sat- so we decided to skip Williamsburg and just head straight home on Friday instead. That is OK- it gives us a few days to decompress before going back to work on Monday! ugh.

I will insert a few more pics here once my Photobucket is not annoying me!- I try and download 6 freaking pics and it gets stuck on 33%!!!!

I will be back later to insert them! I just wanted to be sure to get the pic of me and HRH in the post!

Wow, sounds like you guys had a great time in Savannah! DH almost took a job there a while ago (I had asked HRH back then what it was like living there!) I wish it would have worked out, because it seems like such an awesome place. Great pictures! Can I ask, what was the name of the place you stayed? It sounds awesome.
