I hope everyone had a great and successful weekend! And I hope to see you all tomorrow!

I'm here!!!! We made it back home yesterday afternoon and I'm trying to catch up on all I need to do around here. Sounds like Freapland has been kind of slow this past week. Glad I didn't miss any drama. I'll try to get some photos posted later this week. We had a marvelous time and it was sooooo relaxing, but I'm glad to be home. I love fall in Kentucky(even though it's a wee bit warm now).

IAHD-I swear I'm not ignoring your pm's with the pumpkin and witch. I always fail at saving them. I'm such a computer dimwit. Maybe I'll try again later.

I am still around too- but not posting much. I sneak a peek throughout the day- but I am trying to buckle down at work! But- I just get so bored thoughout the day and I need to check in on the Dis!

DH and I drove down the shore Friday and spent the night- went to a Flea Market in Ocean City on Sat morning, and walked on the boardwalk for about 8 blocks, some of the stores were having their end of summer "sidewalk" sales, I got a few cute dresses- OMG- the weather was perfect, about 70 and sunshine, and there was hardly anyone on the boards!

We walked the 8 blocks back to the car on the beach. Nothing beats the boardwalk and the beach in the morning during off-season! The way the sun hits the ocean, seeing the boats out on the water, just a handful of people around. ugh!

We saw one woman laying out in her bathing suit on the beach It was not freezing, but most people had pants and t-shirts on, I said to DH, "she must be from like, Wisconsin or Canada or something" I said that only b/c when people from a cold area get to someplace warmer, they don't care, they just want to absorb the sun! We say the same thing when we go to Disney in December and it is cold out- you see a handful of people in the pool and we always assume it is visitors from a really cold climate that say the heck with it- we are swimming

Hi all! I've missed ya'll the last two weeks! I have been in AL helping my sister's with their HUGE children's consignment sale. I just got in last night and I am whipped! I think I at least lost a little weight working so much!

Now I just have to go back and catch up with what all you have been up to for two weeks.

Marna and Madd-sounds like you both had wonderfully relaxing vacations or at least mini-vacations!

Me too! That is soooo my DH. He has always been a groper. I can't even wash the dishes without getting felt up. Gotta love 'em though.

Afternoon

Busy weekend between sports and running around...also had car issues but hopefully the dealership will take care of things....I called this AM and was told it is covered under the warranty AND I'll get a loaner car free so hopefully it is fixed as easy as that The car is only 4 years old and has 44,000 miles on it and I think the starter died

Other than that, life as crazy usual. Book fair & visit the classroom day at the kids school so I brought DD a happy meal for lunch and we bought a couple books ~ repeat tomorrow with DS. Fun but makes my day chaotic with work...good thing I work only 4 minutes away

DD said they had so many people show up it was amazing. She thought it was just going to be her and her roomates walking but 30 friends of her from school showed up.
SHe raised about 500 dollars before hand and that day the kids showed up with check for a total of 1,700 dollars.
