The Good Ole Freap Chat ~ Sequel Part III ~

Good Morning All! I did survive the sleepover! They eventually settled down and I put the hammer down around 11:00 and they went to sleep ...It wasn't so bad looking back at it...just the noise level was extremely high and my house is usually pretty quiet.... They had a great time though and all the mothers wanted to know how it went so that they could possibly have sleepovers.

I told them I thought it went pretty well, but I would keep the number of guests to a minimum. I only had 4 total, but I wish it would have been 3. One of the boys kept hitting the others! I kept telling him to stop, but he wouldn't listen to me! That really upset me and one of the boys actually said he wanted to go home because of it...I told him that if anyone was going home it was "the hitter"....and then I proceeded to get the phone out and tell him I was going to call his parents to come pick him up. He stopped hitting then!

But all in all my son thinks I'm the best mom in the world for letting him have a sleepover/clonewars party, and that's all that matters!

I also love my DVR. We have 2. One in the livingroom and one in the bed room

Let me ask a DVR question- MY DVR will only tape 2 shows at once. Not only that, if it is taping 2 shows- you cannot watch any other channels except one of the two that are taping???

Is that the same for all of your DVRs??:confused3

That's how ours is, too. But you can watch a DVR'd show while recording 2 shows. That's why I am thinking of getting another one. Plus, I like pausing and rewinding tv. The best part about the DVR is I record every show I want to see then, even if I am watching it that night, I start about 20 minutes after an hour-long show starts and FFW thru commercials and end at about the right time. :woohoo: Especially nice during campaign season :thumbsup2

Ok- that's good. It's not just ours.

DH refuses to watch a show that is taping on a channel that has commercials. We will wait until the show is over (or like you do- 20 minutes in) and then go back and watch in on the DVR. Zip right through the commercials.

It is great that you can pause-fast forward etc while you are watching regular TV too!

The one in our livingroom is like that. But the one in the bedroom you have to watch what you are taping. Or you can watch a taped show. But that is because it is not hooked in to the phone line.

If some one can use it pm and I will send it off to you. My cat will eat any dry food but will on e potty in one type of litter

ME TOO! I want to post some freebies but work is getting int he way. And after work yesterday I started putting up my Halloween decorations:cool1: I think it will take me a few days to get everything out!

PS! Can any freap that has my e-mail address e-mail me??? My stinkin' Windows e-mail will not let me receive anything, and NOW, as of yesterday it keeps asking for a password!?

I have to go directly to the Comcast site to send and receive all my mail- I am not sure if it is working properly:guilty:

Thanks!
