Yes, Bradford Anderson (who plays Spinelli) used to do theater, and he CAN sing--as evidenced by today's show! He and Maxie were sooooo sweet today, simply magic. It's about time love returned to the afternoon.

I wish Sonny would just leave. He has impregnated practically the whole female population of Port Charles, and he kisses like a duck.

And I loved everything about karoake! The character interaction, the songs, and just the fun. With everything so doom and gloom on this show usually, it was nice to see everyone loosen up for once!

IA about Spinelli/Maxie, Robin/Patrick, and Diane/Max--they have all been fabulous lately, and they are the only reasons I still watch this show. All Sonny's Children and Micheal's rampages are so stupid, to me anyway...

**Who hits Claudia? - 7.14.9
Claudia gets the news she is hoping for, Sonny is the father of her baby. When she finds out Jason has told Sonny about her involvement in Michael's shooting, her world comes crashing down - she finds out Sonny has gone to seek comfort in the arms of Olivia. Olivia and Sonny come close to making love, but they are interrupted by a phone call informing Sonny that the baby Claudia is carrying is his. He learns that she is in danger of losing her unborn child.


What happened? Claudia is in an accident.


Carly is there to rescue her when she finds Claudia behind the wheel of an overturned car. Carly has to drag Claudia out of the car just before it explodes - Carly saves Claudia's life!


Who hit Claudia? Michael? Kristina? Someone else?


When Michael is confiding in Kristina that he may have caused the accident, she tries to convince him that it could have been someone else who caused the accident. But she doesn't reveal that she too was on the road that night. Michael feels the right thing to do is to go to the police and tell the truth.

Carly, however saw a small, light colored car that she thinks may belong to Alexis. Kristina overhears Diane asking Alexis if she could have caused the accident. Carly is determined to clear Michael. Will she convince everyone that Alexis was the guilty party?


Keifer advices Kristina not to come forward. Will Kristina confide in Sam?


What will Molly think of all this?


When Alexis is blaming Michael, Sam asks Alexis if Kristina could be the one to blame.


When Jason tries to stop Michael from turning himself in, it is too late. He is arrested by Mac, but he is shortly released on bail. **

I just can't see this Dante/Dominic as Olivia's son. I think he looks a bit old. I know she was very young when she got pregnant, but they just look a little too close in age to me.

I have been thinking the same thing. He looks much older than Johnny to me for instance. I suppose the actor could be in his 20s but I think he can definitely pass for at least 35.

I totally agree...If she was 16 when she had him but she's 45 now, then he would be 30...but she says Johnny is older than Dante...So how old is Johnny? He was with Lulu and this is just too weird.

Dante looks to be over 30 for sure. Who is he meant to pair up with? Maxie, NOT. Lulu...NOT, Sam Oh God I hope not.....


The cast dynamic seems way off to me these days. Too many women for Sonny, nobody for Jason, Too many men for Maxie (Johnny was there for a while, Spinelli, Matt, etc) and nobody for Lulu. It`s all lob-sided.

I like Olivia with Johnny....Sonny with Olivia is TOO obvious. I hate it. I also hate that they don`t let Sonny start to respect or care for Claudia at all....It`s so unattractive to treat someone like he does.

Oh, Jason, please spend a week in jail,as a favour to me....Like Jason would ever be able to connect from this self-centered egotistic buthead.

According to the information I read about Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) he was voted Best Singer in High School and has performed in many stage productions. I'm "assuming" that he can sing well based on that. Of course you know what happens when you "assume".

For the week of 7/20/09

**A car crash changes Sonny's life forever -- and one of his kids may be responsible.
Things kick off with a major, game-changing incident: Claudia Zacchara gets in a serious car accident, and the fate of her and Sonny's unborn baby hangs in the balance. This means some hugely tough decisions for both Sonny and Claudia to make regarding their child. Meanwhile, the possible suspects get narrowed down to Michael or Kristina, causing major tension for Sonny, Claudia, Carly, Jason, Alexis -- pretty much everyone. Carly's status as an eyewitness further complicates things ... and it's not helping HER delicate pregnancy either.

Of course, Michael and Kristina aren't the only suspects. Suspicion also falls on Alexis, which doesn't do a lot to help her combative mother/daughter relationship with Kristina. And the "favor" that Alexis asks of Sam isn't helping make the lady lawyer look any more innocent. Either way, one of these three people turns themselves in to the cops this week.

All this, PLUS: Maxie keeps trying to avoid Spinelli after he pops a most intriguing question. Yes, the Jackal has asked Maxie to be his bride -- and Maxie is freaking out! But she finds it awfully hard to resist when she gets a look at the ring Spinelli got for her. **
