Has anyone else said that maybe Kate'd "deep, dark secret" is that she was really pregnant by Sonny, and that Spinelli is really their child. So the shock is that Spinelli learns that Sonny is his father. And I'm another one who'd love to see something develop between Spinelli and Maxie. I think that would be so cute.

I thought they said that they NEVER slept together? I think it would be great though

I thought I read somewhere that the secret * had notihing to do with a baby? *

I whited out the above in case people didn't want to know what the secret pertained to. I could be wrong though.

On a side note, I am going on my first cruise on Sunday - think you guys can handle being spoiler free for about a week? Of course, they have internet on the ship so I just might post 'em anyway

I was trying to think who the candidates could be --

Anthony Zacchara -- interesting, but a longshot
Trevor -- I hope not
Ric -- lots of storyline possibilities there
Sonny -- um, no thank you
Luke -- highly improbable
Jax -- don't think so
Mike -- could actually be very interesting, but they never write for him
Edward -- I think he long ago reached his quota of illegitimate offspring
Alan -- could be done, but doubtful & would make me mad
Mac -- nope, they forgot him
Jerry -- very interesting possibility
Scott -- pretty much nil, see Edward

Anybody else have ideas?

OK, I'm really hoping this isn't how it plays out. BUT Claudia hates Trevor for a reason, and she was sent away for a while. Is it possible Spinelli could be their child?

**Carly and Claudia's camaraderie that day at the hotel is, alas, short-lived. Now that they know who the other is, it's gloves off time. Sonny fulminates Claudia to watch her step around Kate, and step off. It's not Kate Sonny should worry about this week. It's his and Carly's oldest son, Michael. Michael may be just a boy, but that's no matter when Claudia orders Ian and Jerry to do a mob hit on Sonny, and they miss. Ian and Jerry receive the location coordinates for taking Sonny out. For the millionth time, Jax orders Sonny to stop hovering around near Michael and Morgan. Sonny take a crack at normalcy, losing the mob shadow Carly doesn't take news of Jax's next travel plans well. Carly hits the roof when it turns out Kate brought Michael to Sonny's warehouse. Jerry breaks speed records to thwart a shooting. Elizabeth answers the ER call. Maxie and Lulu fuss at each other while trying to make good impressions at their latest place of employment. Maxie and Spinelli, cozy. Johnny desires to foot the bill for Luke's Haunted Star reboot. Monica must accept what the courts decide for her. Robin has a taste of what it's gonna be like when she has a kid of her own, when she babysits Elizabeth's two boys. Robin harbors doubts of her independence, thinking that maybe a little help wouldn't be so bad. Robin extols Jason's paternal virtues to Elizabeth, downplaying the enforcer gig. Patrick requests of Robin some alone time where they can kick back and chill. Robin joneses for Eli's ribs, so Patrick goes out and brings some back for her. Patrick wisely keeps silent the second Robin starts in on her Miss Independent act. The two have a fairly decent time without much strife for a change. Patrick concedes he may be father material after all, but by this time, Robin's fast in dreamland, dozing on his shoulder. Next week: Sonny avoids the hit on him, but one of his own isn't so lucky… Michael goes down, by mistake… Sonny kills himself with guilty and self-hatred over Michael's misfortune… Jason settles on a more painful, tortuous option… Sonny and Carly can barely wrap their minds around what just happened to their little boy… Carly goes ape on Sonny because of Michael. She's close to cracking apart… Jerry is out for Ian's blood… Patrick does his best, but he must tell loved ones it's touch-and-go with Michael… What has transpired greatly affects Claudia, for she is not made of stone… Tracy pushes Claudia to steer clear of her husband Luke… Claudia has something to say to Nikolas regarding Robin's condition… Patrick begins to soften toward becoming parents with Robin, taking care of her as best and as much as he's able. He also begins to go there, imagining if he'd do alright as a dad… Nikolas and Nadine, major rift. **

I am doing my best to ignore that vibe & won't admit I believe it's possible. If they do go this route, I hope they don't saddle poor Spinelli w/ that.

I don't remember the Carly that was played after Tamara Braun. I do remember someone coming in and subbing for her for a week. Then she left and this present day Carly started after "Carly" recooped for her mental breakdown.

She was on a little longer that that, but that's probably who you're thinking of---- she wasn't supposed to be just a temporary replacement though.

Unfortunately, they've established that Kate and sonny never slept together when they were younger.

I just thought of another possibility.. longshot BUT Claudia also knows Ian from her past. It was mentioned earlier that Ian's mother was a PC resident. Is it remotely possible that Spinelli is Claudia & Ians son and his grandmother he lived with was Ian's mom?

Have a great trip.. I'm so jealous.. Where are you going?

I have really wanted to smack Lulu over the past two episodes. She and Carly really annoyed me---- even Jax annoyed me today. Is that how they treat their former employee who apparently did a great job for them (according to Carly)--- I know Carly was pissed about Maxie hanging up on her, but still---- and lulu -- well I love seeing her do such a bad job though, I just hope they keep that up! I mean, technically Carly is connected to Maxie as well--- she is her mother's niece (Bobbie still referred to Maxie several times as her niece even though she and Tony divorced.

I so agree! Who does Carly think she is to tell Kate who will be her assistant? And it's obvious that Lulu stinks at the job, and I used to like that character. I'm still just coasting through all the shows, it was on in the kitchen and I didn't even pay attention to most of it,lol. That's a far cry from the days when I used to tape all of the ABC shows and watch faithfully each night!

In honor of GH's 45 anniversary tomorrow 4/1 watch these video's from YouTube. It must have been a show of GH' 30th Anniversary and it has clips from the very first GH show. I've been pretty much watching from Day 1. I wish they'd release some of these old shows on DVD! I don't think I ever saw this show (it's a full hour broken up into 5 segments). It was before I ever had a VCR.

Well, I've got to say that Maxie is something else! I was actually cheering for her yesterday and I NEVER thought that I would be doing that. What a great actress to be able to take you from despising her to cheering her on all in a couple of months, AND also make you understand exactly why she does what she does. She really has her finger on exactly who Maxie is.
Yesterday was the only time that I have actually enjoyed watching Kate in months. She has been so boring for months now, barely speaking above a whisper, no spark, nothing like the original "Kate Howard". Yesterday when she got a little sassy with Lulu it was actually interesting to watch. Hopefully they will continue to let her open her mouth and talk.
