Ahh...our old GH was back for 3 hours. So sad for it to end - I can only hope that the writing gets better tomorrow!

And, ITA about Courtney.

Just wish they'd put Jason and Liz back together I then atleast I might watch a full ep.

I knew this thread would be active today. Hasn't it been nice to see so many oldtimers today. Look how good Bobbie looked, and Lila and Edward. Monica and Alan.... Lucy! Those were the days. If someone bought a clue they'd put these out on dvd or at least run old soaps. I have been watching the re-runs of Ryan's Hope. I really enjoy those. I'm going to miss it when SoapNet goes off the air next year.

Ahhh...Ryan's Hope. My mom watched that while I was growing up. I now have a daughter Jillian inspired by her watching. I always loved how that name sounded while she watched.

I forgot this was happening and am totally bummed. My daughter has become hooked on GH this past year and having her watch this would have explained so much to her but she was working. I'll have to see if I can find it online somewhere. Any ideas where to look?

If you have Soap Network they are running all three a few more times this week.

I would love to see the "Amazing Grace" episode where Sonny sees Brenda for the first time and she is coming out of the church after thinking that she was dead. I LOVED that one!

They didn't have the entire epside but had the clip of him seeing her on ABC's GH website. They had a top 25 of Brenda moments and that was one of them. Good stuff!!!!

Jax showed a lot of emotions yesterday, not just dealing with corporate takeovers...it was kind of nice. Sonny was so young and full of himself, but I liked him better then.

The Q's! How this show used to be so good! And, Reginald - he was so great!

I might be in the minority but I want Sonny and Brenda together. It really showed what a "super couple" they were way back when. I really like CarJax together so Sonny can have Brenda. Now if we could only get rid of Sam.

Oh and you know what else I saw yesterday? The utter lack of chemistry with Jason and Courtney! Why do these writers even put these characters together when you can see its such an effort for the actors?

I also would like Sonny and Brenda back together. I vaguely remember them as a kid watching, so I looked up their entire history and watched a lot of the old clips so it would help me understand whats going on. They had such a natural chemistry and their relationship was at a very slow pace. If the concept the writers are going after is to get them back together, I hope they learn from the past and take it slow, so the payoff is nice at the end!

I've been on vacation so I've missed a weeks worth.. I hope my dvr taped all 3 of those episodes.. I have it taping on 2 different dvr's so hopefully one did..


I loved Sonny and Brenda together.. I think that was the last time I actually liked Sonny.

Never liked the courntey character either..


I should be home late tomorrow night and hopefully I can catch up then. If not other than laundry I don't plan on doing anything on Friday..

I hope they keep Lisa around for awhile, her & Brook could be the New Bad Girls. Maxi has been redeemed now & Carly can still be bad but when you have kids it changes how bad you can be-does that make any sense?

Can someone please explain this to me. I bought a soap magazine today partially because it had this headling "It's For Real: Jason's Out!" In skimming the magazine, naturally I couldn't find any mention of it. Does anyone here know? Is the character leaving town for a while, or is the actor leaving GH? Also, don't you hate when magazines do this-give a tantalizing headline on the cover with virtually nothing (at least nothing easy to find) inside?
