@chunkymonkey I wanted to use another word but I'm not sure what's acceptable on the Dis so I left it at "butt". Lol. It's my Dad. If you get a chance to check out my TR, you'll get to read ALL about it! I had planned rope drop for 5 out of 7 park days and we never, not once, made it! My DH is going next trip and the 'rents are staying home, so I should be in good shape. My DH isn't the fondest of early rising but anything that lets us tour with less people is high on his list!![]()
Oh awesome I'm following right now! LOL That is so funny!
I haven't ordered yet. DH was thinking about the baguette, but he doesn't really like poached eggs. Me either usually. I normally get fried or poached eggs done hard, but I don't want to bother or waste time for this meal. Otherwise, that baguette did look really good, because I love arugula, cheese, and tomatoes. I think DH will get the Croque Madame. I don't like hamI sound like a really picky eater
Anyway, I was thinking of the Feast a la Gaston, because the bacon and sausage sound good. I have had the quiche at lunch, and I wanted something different. The scrambled egg whites sounded too healthy
The Croissant Doughnut just sounded like a bridge too far for breakfast
Plus, DH doesn't like bananas and would not help me eat it. Our traveling companions are thinking the meat & cheese platter.
Mmm, all choices sound great! I definitely could not do the cronut thing sounded way too sweet for me, plus with all the additional carbs it would have been too one note. The meat n cheese platter sounds yummy too. I might get that next time but the baguette usually speaks to me more.
This will be our first PPO breakfast. Our traveling companions have done it, but it was before the paid Early Magic Mornings. Unfortunately, Disney scheduled one of these on our morning, so we may not get to leave BOG immediately. I know we will at least get a jump for one ride, and I might be able to get some good empty park pics.
Hmm, do you think Early magic mornings is worth it? They give you breakfast too don't they? I heard they were effective but I'm really not an early riser myself. Waking up for rope drop and now these pre park breakfasts are probably the earliest I'd be up...
We went to WDW for the first time as a family the week after DH 40th birthday. He wore his pin most of the trip![]()
Cool! That's the way it should be!

Sometimes it makes you wonder if the Photopass folks just get bored and start messing with guests.
then on out last day, we were there when they had a chosen little kid try and it came out with no effort. My son's eyes almost fell off their socket!!! instead of thinking this must be staged, he tried harder!!!! This was a must stop for 2 disney trips until he realized it will never come out unless he was chosen... He is 16 now still loves MK and laughs every time we pass by the sword. Will still go to it and give it a pull....
I will have to think about this.
frugal mama strikes again! I was also considering the WOC dessert party for that night but we saw WOC last October and don't plan on seeing it again (it was good but we don't feel the need to see it again) so now I'm not sure if I will make any more ressies. We are doing Medieval Times on our first night in SoCal; our first full day we are going to Universal and I wanted to make a ressie at Goofy's Kitchen for dinner but can't rely on what time we'll be back (and crummy LA-area traffic) so that might be a miss as well.
I hope there's nothing like the crane when we make it to the World. I was a little (ok, very) upset when I saw that Sleeping Beauty castle would be covered for my first trip - both when I read it online about two weeks before, and when we got there in person.
But I'm worried about fitting in other snacks too! I didn't do any food research before our trip last year. And this year, even though I did lots of reading, I missed Ariel's Princess Breakfast???
Maybe I can sneak it in...
