So sad, Ebron, in Lonzie case made a deal for aggravated assault and gets 20 years. He showed them where the body was.

Ethan Couch's mom is due in court right now for bond hearing.

Luckily I'm parking my butt again after my 2nd foot surgery, so I'm a wealth of information by virtue of the fact that I have nothing else to do. LOL My DH is delighted with 6 AM conversations like "Hey, did you know Donna Reed's wardrobe was made and provided by McCalls patterns?!" Good times, good times.

I will most definitely update here as I see updates there.

Here's a weird ditty, same FB page. Wouldn't you think there was another way to get it, or that Dr Phil would have a copy? Now, if I had a copy, and was promised lunch with Juan Martinez, I might hop a plane with it, crutches and all.

"Guys - we need your help! Does anyone in the LA area have a physical copy of the Hughes' paperback 'Our Friend Travis'? If you do, would it be possible to meet up with Chris Hughes? "Guys, I have it on good authority that Kareem 'Lefty' Williams will be at the Dr. Phil taping. How do you feel about this?"

If you don't know who he is, apparently he is a supporter/rapper who wrote a song about Jodes, and yelled something in support of her outside the courthouse in front of Travis's family last year? I really don't recall anything about it when it happened, but that's what they're saying on FB. Sounds like an attention ***** who another attention *****…Dr. Phil…is going to give attention, for the sake of ratings. smh Unfortunately I WILL be watching in order to see Travis supporters.

I would love to pick juan's brain. Did you have the surgery already? Have you checked out the van Callis trial? It is interesting.

It's funny....I think lunch with Juan would actually be awkward. I think outside of the courtroom he's quiet and unassuming. That's the impression I got from an interview he did. It will be interesting to see him on Dr Phil.

Yes, my surgery was 5 days ago. The recovery is much better this time around, so far, and the first recovery wasn't bad, so...so far so good.

I just read up a bit on Van Callis. Ugh. Gut wrenching. That poor girl and her family. Despite an apparent lack of physical evidence, the circumstantial evidence seems compelling. He sure sounds guilty, and if he is, I hope he's convicted and rots in prison, and then in hell. I'm not sure I could watch the trial.

I don't normally watch Dr Phil, but last week while scrolling thru the channels I did catch 2 episodes on the Steven Avery/Brandon Dassey trials. (Yes, I programmed the 2nd episode to come on the next day, lol) He had Nancy Grace on via satellite so she could present the other side since Phil was pretty much outraged with the Avery and Dassey verdicts. It'll be worth tuning in for Martinez, I can always mute the TV while Chris Hughes is on. That's what I had to do when Nancy Grace was on.

Glad to hear this recovery is moving right along, you've got things to do.
