Anyone else feel as though Juan could have done more with his closing statement. I was expecting a slam dunk and feel as though it was more of a layup. Maybe he couldn't but I would have loved for him to follow up Nurmi by saying that Jodi was just 27 but so was Travis, Nurmi asked the jury to not take away Jodi's life but she brutally took away Travis'. I would have also liked him to hit the cover up again, the stories of the ninjas and the lies.

Again, just my 2 cents.
There was a motion filed by Nurmi and something about restricting juan about certain things. Never saw the motion and never heard the ruling on it. But even so I hold out hope that it still made an impact on the jury.

Troy Hayden posted 20 minutes ago that he did some research and that JA will spead at least two years in solitary cell in max security. There are three leves to max with the lowest level allowing her a job and group recreation. He also posted a chart from the Arizona Department of Corrections regarding classification of inmates. Sorry if this has been posted before but I found it interesting.

Max Custody - inmates housed in single cell, limited work opportunities, require escorted movement in full restraints within the institution
Close Custody - shall not work outside the secure perimeter, require controlled movement within the institution
Medium Custody - shall not work outside the secure perimeter, require limited controlled movement within the institution

Death Sentence - max custody
Life Sentence 0-2 years served - max custody
Life 2-5 years searved - no less than close custody
Life more than 5 years served - no less than medium custody

Really, took almost as much time at the trial, just ridiculous.
No kidding!

If she is handed the DP will she be in Max the whole time till she is put our of our misery?

Thank you again usnuzuloose for all the great posts! :thanks::thanks::thanks:

I think it is really interesting how the poll results are pretty much split right now.

I actually didn't choose Death. Not because I didn't think she deserves it, but because I think that is what the jury decides. :(

You and I think alike. But I am good as long as she does not get released. They are taking so long that it is making me wonder if it is a hung jury

I certainly HOPE it isn't a hung jury! They just started today. sooooo I am thinking they need to vote a couple of times. It has to be unanimous doesn't it?

Yes, Darn it, they have about 20 minutes left before the judge will send them home.

Yes. She would be considered a Max prisoner the whole time per AZ Corrections site.

Well as much as I want her dead, I think being in solitary for the rest of her life would be a good deal ;)

i am good with life if that is what is given, but we can hope the jury does the right thing. Tomorrow will be a fresh start for them. They need a good nights sleep to think about it.
