I am disgusted that one juror was a hold out what was their reasoning?

I read that the holdout was a DV victim herself and husband served prison time. I can't remember where I read that. A comment on Jean C.'s FB page I think....

Not to mention that the one holdout had seen the made for TV movie about Jodi, and had apparently heard some other stuff about Jodi that she had brought up in deliberations. They asked for an alternate but were denied. Also the one juror who was dismissed was because her mom died, that made me so sad. I do believe this jury really tried their hardest for justice.

11 worked as hard as they could. But at least they can say they did not try to beat the other juror to change her mind. I feel bad for the one juror.

I'm still sick but hearing these jurors makes it just a little better. I'm glad they said they didn't feel she showed remorse and I love how one called her a psychopath.

JodiArias juror: Used images of Travis' body as last ditch effort to convince holdout juror for death penalty

The press conference is just wrapping up. The lone holdout didn't say goodbye to any of them or anything and just walked out. They are all devastated that they didn't get the death penalty. They said they wanted the death penalty Thursday afternoon.

Wow, so one of the jurors (the holdout for life) watched parts of the Lifetime movie and the jurors knew the crockpot had a Twitter account?!!! If that doesn't prove juries need to be sequestered, I don't know what does.

It was real interesting to hear them speak. I wonder if we'll ever hear from the loan hold out?

I sure hope people won't transfer their Jodi Arias rage to the holdout juror. These celebrity female-murder cases creep me out a little bit.

The crockpot had a Twitter account??? I'm at my daughter's house now but I recorded it. Can't wait to hear this interview. I don't feel the least bit sorry for the one juror if she didn't deliberate in good faith and was not on the up and up with what she had watched and heard outside of the trial and jury room. But I'll have to see what I think when I get home and hear the jurors speak.

I wonder if Juan knew this if he can file a motion? That would mean this lady could have been lying everyday the judge asked if anyone heard or saw anything.

I thought they said they didn't know the crockpot had a twitter account?

I understood it that they did know, but they might have been told right after the trial as I think about it more.

Let us know about the crockpot twitter account.

But don't you think for a case this long sequestration would be a severe hardship?

I think this case is a prime example of why we need to have some tightening of the rules on how things can be conducted and some time constraints be put in place. Something to this extreme would put a major strain on the budget of the court I work in. Due process can and must be delivered more efficiently and economically IMO.

It seems as though the courts now days seem to cater to the criminals. Jodi should never get a say of when sentencing should be. She's had a fair trial so it's time to pack her bags and take her to where she belongs. Stretching this stuff out is just not right.
