The Fab Four Hit WDW! Updated: This Time Next Week Posts!

I'm with Jackie on this one...I longingly look at my scrapbooking stuff often and wish I had the time to catch up LOL!!! I'm still working on January!!! I'm very excited about this trip and I'm doing a Portfolio Album from CM and hopefully that will help things go a little faster for me so I can have this album done sooner LOL!!! That reminds me I need to go add more prints to my card and get Digital storybook LOL!!!!!

I also booked the Wishes Dessert Party for me and Paula yesterday!! I'm so excited! A great few of Wishes and some amazing desserts, I'm very very excited!!

I'm going to look into that scrapbook for our trip.

Yeah, I'm so excited. I'm glad you are going too. Those desserts look so good! And there are so many choices!

The Wishes Dessert party sounds so fantastic! Can't wait to hear all about it and see the pics. There are some stroller crazed nuts in WDW for sure.

Ah... my scrapbooking mess is put away, but after two birthdays and start of school I am already behind. I need to get back in a routine before I attempt to do more pages though.

Yeah, I keep looking at those food pix. There seems to be a lot of choices. I'll take a lot of pix.

Yeah, I know. Just when I get caught up I'm behind. Oh well, I'm determined to have B.'s caught up before his birthday.

Congrats on the Wishes dessert party ressie! It looks fantastic.:woohoo:

I know, I'm excited!

The Wishes Dessert Party sounds like a great idea, especially for a family with young kids. Those crowds can get vicious around Spectromagic/Wishes times. My DF and I had a horrendous time trying to get across the park...and it was just the two of us and we had no fear of getting separated. I couldn't imagine trying to do with two young children. Good for you guys! :thumbsup2

Yeah, the crowds are crazy and with a double stroller it is even more crazy. We are looking forward to just relaxing and eating a bunch of yummy treats.

Hurray for the Wishes party!!! I am sure you will have a blast!!!

I know! I can't wait! We are eating lunch at Y&Y that day so we will be nice and hungry by then.

I just noticed that we have 50 more days until our trip! In 20 more days we'll start our countdown chart! :woohoo:

Maybe I should look more into that dessert party, hmmmmmmmm............

I don't have much time today but I just had to post...

We are going to Walt Disney World next month!!!!!!!!

I would love to do the dessert party too but sadly it is ending before our Dec trip..maybe they will extend it?? It seems to be a good money maker so far!

WOO HOO for the dessert party. I think it is going to be a great addition to your trip!

Yayayaya for going next month! That is a great thing to be able to say!

Hurray for being able to say "Disney in a month!"

:woohoo: I love saying it!!

Last night I spent about an hour going over our schedule and trying to figure out how to get some more "down" time. Rob has been working really hard at his job and his side job and is *so* ready to relax. I also thought of our previous trips and I know that when I get short tempered is when I'm tired. The hard part is knowing that we probably won't be going back until 2011, so I want to cram it all in, but I also want to relax and enjoy, you know what I mean?

I think I finally decided that one big time waster for us is figuring out what counter service to eat. I remember one day at MK when it took us about 1/2 hour to figure out what to eat and then we walked into Pinocchio's Village Haus only for Rob to say he didn't want to eat anything there.:headache: So, last night I studied all the CS at each park and wrote down two choices for each day in our Passporter. I know my husband and if I give him two choices he'll pick one and be fine. It's when I give him every choice where the trouble starts.

I've also decided not to rush out of the villa after naps on the days we have a breakfast or lunch ADR. I always feel like after naps we need to be up and out. I need to just relax and go with the flow more at these times. On nights where we have an evening ADR if we are tired or cranky we are heading back to the villa after we eat. I'm not going to push to stay at the park.

Any other suggestions? What do you do to make things more relaxing?

I also made a shopping list for our grocery stop. I'm still trying to figure out when to fit it in since our first day we are staying offsite and our actual first Disney day is spent at HS. I'm thinking of running to the store when the kids nap in the afternoon.

I was going to post the CS options and the shopping list tonight, but I left my notebook upstairs and I know once I go up there, I'm up there for the night. I'll post it tomorrow.

On a personal note, my baby B. is turning one on the 14th. It's really hitting me hard. I'm planning his party and our relatives are making the drive in from IL, so this weekend and early next week will be busy with that and cleaning. My parents are staying with us :scared1:in our tiny bungalow for 5 days, so please send me some strength. Not only will we have cramped quarters but Rob and I will be sleeping on an air mattress for the 5 days. :rolleyes:Should be interesting to say the least.

I so know that birthday feeling. I hope the party goes great and what a good daughter you are to take an air mattress.

I totally know the impt of downtime. We missed it and it was hard this trip without it.

The two choice CS is a great idea. I will have to remember that!

Great idea about giving DH 2 CS choices! Will you have menus of each place with you?

Aw, your baby is turning 1! Hope the party goes well as well as camping with mom and dad for 5 nights. I think in that amount of time I might do bodily harm to my mom, even though I love her dearly.:rotfl: I'm sure it will be fine and you'll find all kinds of things to do with them. And just think of the babysitting possibilities!!

Did you look into it? What do you think?

I did - those desserts look awesome :thumbsup2 We discussed it though and decided it wouldn't be worth the money though because the only day we can go is an evening we have an ADR for 1900 Park Fare, so we wouldn't be very hungry. I really look forward to hearing how it was though!

Yeah, each day that passes I just keep thinking about how "old" he looks!

I'm not looking forward to the air mattress!!

I hope having just 2 choices helps us out!

I'm trying to decide if I want to take my passporter with us to the parks or just write a quick note about each on a notecard.

Yeah, it is bittersweat! Oh, trust me, I'm sure I'll have to hold my tongue more than once. Since I only see my Mom a few times a year she forgets that I'm an adult with kids of my own sometimes...:rolleyes1

I agree. You wouldn't want to have more food after having that yummy buffet at 1900.

I have to say that I'm loving my Passporter! I love filling out all those pockets in the back.

Okay so here are our choices for each day? Suggestions?

10/18- HS
This will be for dinner. Flatbread Grill or Pizza Planet

10/19 MK - Dinner
We are doing the Dessert Party this night, so we might split a CS meal.
Columbia Harbor House or Pecos Bills

10/20 MK - Lunch
This will be an early lunch because we have an ADR for LeCellier that night and I want to be nice and hungry!
Casey's or Columbia Harbor House (If we don't eat here the day before, if we do, Pecos)

10/21 DTD - Dinner
Wolfgang Express or Earl of Sandwich
I'm hoping for Wolfgang's because our tradition is to eat at EofS on our last day at DTD.

10/22 - Epcot Lunch
Snacks from Food and Wine. We have an early dinner at Rose and Crown so we don't want to be stuffed from lunch.

10/23
This day I'm not sure about. We have breakfast at CP this day so one meal (either lunch or dinner) will be in the room. We'll be at MK that evening so I think I'll just give him a choice we haven't used yet. Suggestions?

10/24 Lunch
We always eat E of S on our last day at DTD. So, we'll probably eat there. I just won't give him a choice.

I think giving DH two choices is perfect! I find I have to have an idea of where I want to go while in Disney with Marc. Just makes it so less frustrating.

I love the two CS idea -- I will have to remember that for future trips! All of your choices are good ones, too!

I adored filling out my Passporter pockets, too! :thumbsup2

Yes, I agree! I get so frustrated, just freakin' pick a place to eat! :laughing:This is supposed to be a relaxing trip, so I need to make sure I have everything under control.

Thanks! I hope that Rob thinks they are good choices too. :rotfl:

I wish there was a way to just buy the pockets. I love them!

So I might have to look at a Passporter.. it seems to be what the cool kids have:rotfl2:

Your choices look good... I can't figure anything you are missing.

I love your choices and I love how you want to make sure this trip is relaxing :thumbsup2
