Update and Recap
Health
Okay, so let's start with health. My arm is fine. We went through a couple months of OT and got it back in order. Officially, there were no breaks, but there was a nasty injury to the area. Since my last update (I think), I was referred to Cardiology. Pulmonolgy was stressed over figuring out why I can't breath and slight movement made me short of breath. He already sent me to Cardiology once, but they cleared me and said my heart was perfectly fine. While in Cardiology, the doctor flat out told me that there's nothing wrong heart-wise and Pulmonolgy was wasting everyone's time (he was nice about it, just stating the point he was making). After some time in his office, he wanted to do a stress test on my heart (I don't recall what happened to make him want it done) and an EKG. So that was scheduled ... and didn't go very well. In less than one minute, I hit the "target heart rate" based on age and whatever factors it lists. In under two minutes, the machine popped up a big warning advising the tester to SHUT DOWN the treadmill. That's not scary at all, right? So yeah, I was on the treadmill for roughly two minutes before getting off. She took my BP and heart rate a million times, checked my O2 stats, etc. So.... long story short, Cardio now says there IS a heart issue. I don't recall exactly what it was called... Inappropriate something Tachycardia or something like that.... but anyway, my heart is beating TOO fast and blood is getting backed up. So he put me on meds to slow my heart rate down. Guess what happened. I could breathe!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had some side effects from the medication, so they had to switch (and we've switched several times and still have NOT gotten a good med + dose figured out, but we are certainly on the right track). My Neurologist has said all the tests are coming back fine and he has no clue why I have Neuropathy, why it's spreading, and why it's getting worse. He's also said he only cares about managing my symptoms from this point forward. So now I'm going to ask for a referral to another neurologist. Haven't seen Pulmonology lately, but have an appointment Monday for testing and to meet with the doctor immediately after for results and discussion. I imagine it will be a quiet visit. ~*Edit*~ I wanted to add, I've switched to 100% natural bath and beauty products and I rarely get hives/rashes! It has nearly cured my Urticaria (chronic hives). It was the best decision I've made in a long time and my skin and hair looks so much better! I make a good portion of the things I use, but some I buy through Etsy, Amazon, or the store's personal site. It's all natural products and has very low EWG scores for anything "branded" that I use. If anyone wants to switch from mainstream products but not sure where to start, feel free to PM me and I can share some of my resources. (I do NOT sell any products and only make for myself and close friends/family. I'll just be happy to share recipes, product reviews, and webpages that were beneficial to me when I started the journey to natural body care. That said, I did mail some of my favorites to my TA, Kelly, as a thank you for everything she's done!)
Trip
We are PAID IN FULL! Yeah, okay, so we had to be paid in full like two weeks ago. But it's a definite trip now. We are at CBR in a preferred room. All FP and dining ADRs are in stone at this point. Not much has really changed, except a few odds and ends. I'll do a recap, instead of editing original posts with what DID change and what got put into stone.
Recap
Sept 29th: Still leaving and driving as far as we can until stopping at a hotel for the night.
Sept 30th: Still waking up early, grabbing fast breakfast, and hitting the road until arrival. I'm hoping to arrive around lunch time, but may not. Once we arrive, we'll get settled and do whatever and head to MK around 3:30ish or so. We will stay until MSEP and Wishes (well, I'll head out with baby after MSEP, as I'm certain he won't enjoy Wishes). FPs are as follows:
- Jungle Cruise
- Big Thunder Mtn Railroad
- Buzz Lightyear
- Tower of Terror (for Akki and DD13)
- Toy Story
- Star Tours
- Barnstormer
- Peter Pan
- 7 Dwarfs
- Kali River Rapids (mom and older kids only)
- Kilimanjaro Safari
- Expedition Everest
Oct. 5th: Still our EP day. We have two dining ADRs. We plan to make it a full day at EP, mostly focused on FW. We will try the Beverly. Baby and I will head out in the evening, but mom and kids will stay for the night show. FPs are selected:
- Soarin'
- Character Spot
- Mission Space (green)

I am happy that I get to keep up with you a little bit on FB. I hope the kids and family are doing well?
Your plans and FPs sound great! Dapper Day sounds amazing too!
Just know we love you and the girls and miss you dearly!
While I didn't care for the treadmill test, I am glad they did it and got answers from it. One day, we'll have everything in order. It's just trial and error right now while we find the right medication that works and provides little to no side effects. So we're definitely on the right track. We just need to find the perfect med and dose! The first beta blocker they put me on was a miracle drug! But, bad side effects.
So... yeah.

Probably hop to another park. Or... maybe we'll spend the afternoon at a waterpark and THEN go to DHS. I dunno. It's a laid back day. All we know is no dining to tie us down, so we can do whatever we want. And since we'll have TSM and ST earlier in the week, it isn't a big deal if we miss out on those, too.

Two of my kiddos are part of the wedding. DS9 will be an usher and DD13 will be keeping the guest book. So Friday we have rehearsal and dinner, Saturday is the wedding, etc. On a good note, they are going on a cruise for their honeymoon (I don't recall which one) and afterwards will visit WDW for a couple of days! The exciting part is that I'll get to see them while they're on their Disneymoon portion! (They aren't taking their honeymoon until October due to work schedules.) I'm sad for them that she didn't take my advice and book ADRs at 180 days, but at least they will get some MK time!
