we're in the final weeks of rehearsal for the school musical --"the King and I". younger dd is one of the king's children. older dd opted to do stage crew this year because she's primarily a dancer and the way the show is being staged there's no real dancing for anyone in the chorus.

so it looks like I'm going to have to go to see the show and support the princesses.

I bet they have a ball!! When I was 7, I was Marta in the Cmmunity theatre production of "Sound of Music". It was tough work, but it was an awesome time! Best wishes to them!

my younger sister stage managed her class production of The King and I earlier this semester. Sadly, I never made it to the performance. (going to school out of state kinda makes that sort of stuff hard)

Some of my fondest memories of school are of being in the school produced musicals. Well, I mean being in the orchestra with my cello. LOL

We did Fiddler on the Roof, Bells are Ringing and a few other classics.......all VERY fun to be a part of.

I bet your girls will come away from these experiences with great memories!
