My name's Welsh.. according to Behind the Name...

MEGAN

Gender: Feminine

Usage: Welsh, English

Pronounced: MEG-ən (English) [key]
Welsh diminutive of MARGARET. In the English-speaking world outside of Wales it has only been regularly used since the middle of the 20th century.

Megan is welsh, for sure. :')
That's my best friends name, too. =D

mine is irish, because my dad comes from there (:

its pronounced ee-mah

exactly like in the film year one, where the girl is called Ema

we were looking through the register in form a few weeks ago, and next to my name our tutor had written 'Ema'

we laughed xD

EIMEAR
Gender: Feminine

Usage: Irish, Irish Mythology

Pronounced: EE-mur

Modern Irish form of EMER

i have to say, im also confused about american dates..

8/12/09

but you would say..

12/8/09

I just looked it up on Google News. It's a personal matter, and not a matter of national security.

That scene in Gavin & Stacey when Gavin's parents surprise him by going to Wales is just how everyone interacts now. They all found out about them coming by Facebook, email, text, and Twitter...

Kayla (KAY-la)
Origin: Ireland
Alt Origins: English, African-American
Meaning: pure and beloved

I also heard it could be Hebrew or Greek I guess

lol, i love gavin and stacey! i cant believe this is the last series D:

does anyone watch Outnumbered? i love it!

US President Barack Obama has abruptly ended a round of golf and sped toward his family's holiday home in Hawaii for what is being described as a "personal matter".

An ambulance was seen speeding toward their compound in Kailua.

White House aides said the speedy departure and return to the President's home was not a matter of national security or because of a threat to Mr Obama's safety.

Mr Obama was playing golf when reporters who travel with him were quickly assembled for a return to the first family's neighbourhood.

Journalists saw an ambulance speed past with its lights on, heading toward the end of Mr Obama's street. The ambulance would have passed through a security checkpoint at the end of the street.

yeesh. i hope everythings ok :S

go ahead and think im weird but i must say i feel inspired to do something good
<insert me doing a superhero pose on top of a cliff looking out into the distance. the sun rising. my hair and cape moving with the wind. here>

Maybe he just wanted to ride in an ambulance? Or he really had to use the bathroom and he's afraid to use public ones? (: Sorry, just trying to make light of the subject.

i'm hungry.

my name's kind of boring; everyone has it, pretty much. i know so many emilys.

9/11 is one of those annoying dates. Only a few countries other then America has it MM/DD/YYYY, instead of DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY/MM/DD, yet we've all adopted the term to mean Setember 11th, and not 9th November...

I wonder what would happen if something major happened on 9th November in the UK. Would we call it 9/11, or would we have to say 11/9?
