First , "Thank You" for your using the software which my late husband, Caskbill, envisioned and created. Caskbill was truly a "Renaissance Man" in his many interests and in his visions of possibilities for DVC owners. We, who knew him personally, knew first how he stayed on top of software/changes/and details...and if you used his software at the higher levels you witnessed his genius on your computer screen. Unfortunately due to the age of the initial software, the additions of multiple new offerings by DVC Disney, and simply computer issues...this" era has run its course". I am taking DVC Tracker off the market...as it is now beyond support by both myself and my dedicated Software Team...due to changes in software on the market. I wish you all " a fond farewell/and "see you real soon on the DISboards!

I am so sorry to hear this. I've been using DVC Tracker for many, many years. I don't know how I would've been able to keep track of my points without it. Thanks to Caskbill for what he gave to the DVC community. And thanks to you and the team for continuing after his untimely passing. I wish you all the best. Thank you again.

Bill was so nice to me when I was learning how to moderate the Rent/Trade Board - spent a couple of hours on the phone with me one evening. I remember him fondly and still think about him.

Hope you will stick around and thanks for keeping the software going as long as you did. I'm sure we all understand why you are discontinuing it. :grouphug:

You and your team did a great job keeping his legacy going. Unfortunately, companies eventually drop support for their older software development products, making it impossible to keep programs running forever. I'm amazed you were able to keep it going this long! Kudos to you and the team for all that you have done.

Caskbill was indeed a creative and brilliant man and he is greatly missed.

Caskpeg....as you can tell by my number of post....I tend to read a lot here....and post very little. I am so thankful for the people on this board for there insight and caring and for all the information they have freely shared. It has been of such benefit to me. I have used Cashbill's software for a number of years and am so thankful for his effort to freely give to those of us who are not near as talented. Blessings to you and for keeping it alive for al long as you did....and know that Bill will be with us for as long as we are with DVC....He IS and will always be part of this....peace...Jim

Thank you so much for the information. Bill was a wonderful gentleman so helpful to me in many ways as a "newbie" to DVC and its' workings. His software and his kind assistance was invaluable. Kudos to you for all you have done to support his work - he clearly loved what he did and your love for him is just as clear.

Thank you for all the kind words about my husband's software program. He poured a lot of time and love into it and helping others with issues on the boards. Yes ... he always wanted to help and assist others in enjoying their membership in DVC as we did. I continue to come for stays...and the memories are the best when visiting old haunts. Even my newest adventure on the Fantasy was another Disney dream vacation. I am still occasionally on the boards also...but not like him as he was daily. Thanks for the continued support!

It was my favorite planning program for tracking my DVC points, but I fully understand you decision. My best wishes for you Peg.

I also used the program for years and would like to add my thanks also. I hope that you have many more years of happy memories and visiting old haunts.

Thank You all to the members who have shared their "happy thoughts" on using DVC Tracker by Caskbill all these years. It was a creation of "dreams" so that DVC owners could use their points wisely. I, too, will miss it....but the new memories continue of WDW. Had an awesome Christmas with my adult children and family there in a GV in 2014!

I too want to add my thanks. Although I didn't know your husband, I did use the program. My computer knowledge is very limited (I still use a flip phone, that says a lot) and I found the program easy to use. I have tried looking at others and I just don't understand them. His program was able to help a wide range of people. So thank you for sharing your husband with us.

It continues that people who were touched by my husband's knowledge and his programs have posted replies to me...and I thank you all for the kinds words shared.

Have to make my new ressie for fall soon....and looking forward to the "magical memories continuing". Hope that you can find a program that is "a good fit for your usage of your ownership at DVC!

The software was great, but the more important thing -- at least to me -- was the love of DVC and the love of The DIS community that motivated Bill to create this incredible tool and maintain it. And for you, Peg, and your dedicated helpers, to continue Bill's work of love.

Thank you all!

Nice to see your post JimMIA....your kind thoughts and memories of Bill and his software live on with me as does his memory. Still need to see his bench in Zion in person. Road trip required on that one! I visit DISboards at times...and again thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Peg - You know how much I loved your dear husband's software, but I fully understand your decision in being done with it. I appreciate that you kept it going for as long as you did. Kuddo's to you and to your dear late husband, he was much appreciated.

SamSam-

I continue to "feel the love" for both my husband's software and just how much he was appreciated by many on the DISboards. Thank you also for your expression of thanks for all the hours and days devoted to both his own software and to fellow owners so they could utilize their points for the best experience.

Peg, I want to add my thanks to Bill and you for the efforts maintaining his program and for our years of friendship.

Enjoy your trip to Zion! :)
