The " End of an era for DVC Tracker by Caskbill Users"

Thanks for posting these pictures for me. I had seen a picture when the trail was re-done previously....but these are stunningly inspiring to me. The pictures and your words of encouragement are wonderful. Life is not the same...but obviously this bench will inspire those who hike up-hill on this path in Zion.
Thanks Doc!

Peg...I was fortunate to have been allowed to beta test the DVC Tracker software and I also recall Bill's love of WDW and the DISBoard community. I also fondly remember him doing his GPS tracking maps to settle questions about how far a particular distance was (he did it when that function was not widely available to the public).

We appreciate what you and your team have done to maintain the software and to use a slightly overused expression, it is clearly time for you to "let it go". Thanks so much for the service to so many people.

Granny-

Nice to hear from a BETA tester of Bill's. We obviously enjoyed the fruits of his genius and dedication. That his name still appears as a Moderator on DISboards reflects his "living memory" for sure. Thanks for a stroll down memory lane of those early times when Bill worked on the software creation that was his dream!

Don't know when this was taken...but several back for sure. Yes he was a "classy guy in the continual driving hat that he loved." Haven't seen you recently..But I now have shoulder length hair so I have changed a bit. Thanks for sharing this keepsake with me and others! Ah memories!

Dear Current DVC Tracker by Caskbill Users:

On March 6, 2015 : I made the initial announcement that my husband's software was no longer for sale/ and would no longer supported by the software team. I also had the sales link removed from my DISboard signature. As of yesterday...I am still receiving orders for upgrades from people who did not see this first announcement. I realize that many loved the software and how it assisted them in planning and maintaining their DVC contracts and visits. I would appreciate you sharing this information with others you may currently know who still utilized the program.

Due to lack of computer software compatibility and a total failure of the computer which the software team utilized for upgrades and issuing of codes needed/
I can not help with any requests for either changes in level of operation, or issuing new codes for access or upgrades in the former program. It is a sad situation that the program had to be discontinued....but many avenues were investigated before I arrived at this final decision.

May you continue to enjoy your DVC ownership in years to come.
