The Earls meet the Princesses:A June PTR *6/13 WE LEAVE IN THE MORNING!*

ARGH!! The t-shirt making has hit a snag. When I bought my transfer paper at Michael's I was a little overwhelmed with the different choices. I settled on the type that said Cotton Iron Ons because I was going to use 100% cotton shirts. It made perfect sense to me anyway. Guess what? That was the wrong choice.:headache: The cotton iron ons are for stuff like tote bags and other heavier fabric pieces, NOT shirts. There's no paper to peel off. Unfortunately, being a novice, I didn't realize my error until after I made one shirt. The iron on is just too thick. Oh well. At least I only messed up one shirt. I'll have to replace it at the same time I purchase new transfer paper when I pick up kids from school. I'll finish the shirts this evening and post about my shopping later also. My DH took over the computer for WoW last night. Wish me luck!

I'll be resizing some of these pictures at a later time, so please excuse their hugeness. First of all, we leave for Disney in 5 days!!! I'm excited, panicked and honestly a tad depressed in turn. The planning is such a large part of the fun for me that I'm sorry to see it coming to an end. BUT the payoff is a wonderful time in The Happiest Place on Earth.:goodvibes

This weekend I mostly finished up the Disney shopping. Friday night George and I picked some things up at Walmart, including this stuff.

Anyone seen this? The box contains cloths impregnated with laundry detergent and fabric softner. You throw the cloth in the washer and then toss it into the dryer with your clothes. I thought they looked awesome for travel!

We also ran across these on clearance for Madeline:

Mickey and Minnie pjs. I thought they were uber cute. I also just noticed my crooked painting.:rolleyes1 Straightening it must not have made my to do list.:rotfl:

Saturday I got to do some real shopping with a girlfriend. We had lots of fun and got some things checked off my list besides.:thumbsup2
Amelia and Ian both got some clothes which will show up in my TR, I'm sure. Michael's was a bust. I needed transfer paper, t-shirts and lanyards. I only found transfer paper.

Next up, the Disney Store.:cool1: I bought Disney gift cards, magic towels, and these guys:

They're only peeking out of their bag because they're not ready to make an appearance yet. They'll show up in my TR.;)

Finally, we hit Target. Oh Target. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I found t-shirts here and lots of small stuff. I just love to line up my travel sized things. They scream vacation to me. Here's some of the stuff I bought Saturday.

Are pictures of this type of purchase boring? Am I insane to post pictures of miniature mouthwash?:confused3 Anyway, I also bought a few more car diversions.

The magazines are for the girls, the Legos are Ian's and The Office is all mine!:woohoo:

No, it's not weird to post the picture of your travel items. In fact, I was scanning all the items you bought to be sure I didn't need any of them myself. I believe Target is on my to-do list for tomorrow or the next day.

The pj's are super cute!

Pictures of toilietries are NOT boring! I love them.

Marc & I bought those new Purex detergent sheets and we LOVE them. They are so awesome. :thumbsup2

Love the new pj's, super cute.

SO EXCITING that your trip is SO CLOSE!!!!:banana::banana:

Those PJ's for Madeline are too cute!

And, pictures of toiletries are not at all boring! You DO know who you are talking to, right?? We live for that kind of stuff! :lmao:

The Pluto, Mushu, and Lady are adorable...can't wait to hear your plans for them!

Finally...I LOVE your countdown calendar...it looks like the kids have had fun using it! :woohoo:

Holy Cow.....I'm heading to the Target Travel items aisle right now..........:car:

WooHoo loved the update!! :dance3:

1. Ian is so, so, cute in that first picture. What a character.

2. My Mom was just showing me the Purex things the other day and said she loves them. Wish I would have seen them before. I order Tide from Garden Grocer to be delivered. Maybe I should take these and leave the Tide unopened. I was thinking I would have to throw away what was left of the tide so it didnt spill, but if I dont open it I could bring it home for later use. Have to think about that one.

3. Love Madeline's P.J.'s

4. Great purchases at the Disney store, cant wait to read about the appearance of the plush animals in your TR.

5. I am going to have to check out Target soon, I love to buy the travel items.

Good job with the update. Is it 4 days now. :dance3:

Me too! I didn't know if she would like them, seeing as they have a character on them, but she loves them too. Whew.

4. Great purchases at the Disney store, cant wait to read about the appearance of the plush animals in your TR.

I had a hard time deciding on which three to buy.

5. I am going to have to check out Target soon, I love to buy the travel items.

Is it wrong that we're so excited about laundry detergent?

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It's so wrong, but sooooo satisfying.

It's like finding a treasure in the travel size aisle. I had seen those first I woulda been jumping up and down and doing my running man or cabbage patch dance......:rolleyes1
