The Earls meet the Princesses:A June PTR *6/13 WE LEAVE IN THE MORNING!*

Oh, I wish I had an entire room to spread things out for packing!!! Right now my bedroom is beginning to look like a disaster area!

Looks like you're in pretty good shape, at this point.

I spy Disney Dollars! :cool1:

I'm going to be sure to get the blister gel bandaids on my next trip to the store and throw them in with the odds and ends we have left over from the last trip.

My back room is often a big closet, which is very nice....until Jill comes to spend the night. When I know they are coming, I have to find a place in the real closets to put all that stuff.

What did Amelia get the red ribbon for?

Oh my goodness! Your water park story is so very scary!!! :scared1:

I adore your packing room!! What a great way to get organized! :thumbsup2

I

LOVE

THE

PACKING

ROOM!!

I know Jeff thinks I'm nuts with the time and effort I put into packing for WDW...it's good to see that I'll be in good company at the loony bin! :rotfl:

Awesome! :thumbsup2

(If only I had an extra room!) :sad2:

We can be roomates!:rotfl:

OH I am a big fan of the staging area for packing! Totally agree! SO what a great start! I love you new dining plans!!! SO you are trying Sanaa too!!?? Great! YOU are going before me, so you MUST MUST share when you get back! ;)

Also, we are staying at BC in December, so I would like to hear about that resort... I can't wait to hear about your trip BEFORE and AFTER !!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

Hi! Happy to comply.:) I wish we could still fit Raglan Road in somehow, but we're looking forward to Sanaa.:thumbsup2

I wander if DH would notice if I converted his "Man Room" into a packing room.:rotfl2:

:lmao:

I'm a "visual" packer, too!! :goodvibes

I put the extra leaves in the dining room table and cover it with piles of clothes. The other stuff goes in piles or laundry baskets around the table.

(Isn't that really what a formal dining room is for??) :rotfl:

Shhh! :ssst:I think packing for WDW is fun!

Kathy

I think that's a perfectly respectable use for a formal dining room.;) I agree. Packing for WDW is fun. Unpacking from WDW is not fun.:sad1:

I have been eagerly waiting for the packing room and you did not disappoint. I love the idea of a room that no one goes in and messes up your space. You have done well with your organization. I wish I had an extra room and was that organized....

Thank you!:goodvibes Having an extra room to spread out is helpful.

Me too!!:lmao:

I love the idea of a packing room. My living room becomes my staging area, but only the day before we leave.:upsidedow

If I used a common area for packing I'd have lots of extra "help" and I pack the best.:snooty:;)

Oh, I wish I had an entire room to spread things out for packing!!! Right now my bedroom is beginning to look like a disaster area!

But the good news is your "disaster area" will be taking you to Disney in just a few days!!:yay:

What did Amelia get the red ribbon for?

Hello! I vascilate between feeling organized and panicked. I had to hide the Disney Dollars and other stuff in the same area right after I took the picture. They're a surprise.:)

The red ribbon is a second place prize in a Lego building contest at her school.:thumbsup2

LL! I'm happy to "see" you.:goodvibes All unpacked?

Oh, we leave for WDW exactly 2 weeks from today!

Hi! :goodvibes I was wondering...did your eggs underneath the deck ever hatch?

Yes!:goodvibes Two of the three eggs hatched on March 18, the third on March 20th. I wanted to get some pictures of the babies, but Mom and Dad Robin got very aggitated. The nest was abandoned when we checked yesterday, which would be 2 weeks from hatching. What I've read indicates they hop out of the nest by day 13, but aren't completely independent for another 10 or so days, so hopefully they're ok?

Well it's time. Time for the ritual vacation hair shearings to happen. Ian was first, yesterday. Let me tell you, I like hair that's just a wee bit long on a boy, but oh my. Pretty soon people were going to start offering Ian pretty pink hair bows. Here's my little wild haired boy before.

And here's my little man child after.

He looks a little shell shocked, doesn't he? Also a little Spock-ish, but I think I'm just not used to seeing the tops of his ears.

George's cut is today and the girls and I both go on Saturday.

I've been looking at some t-shirt disigns, and even had some talented people make a couple of customs for me. Wanna see the disigns? OK!

This one I'm unsure about. The disigner gave me exactly what I asked for, but I just don't know if it's a clear enough reference, or if its kind of dorky. Anyone want to offer an opinion?

Wow! That's a haircut.

I totally dig the Designs...!

Adorable haircut! He is really a little cutie!

The DISigns are great! I love the Star Wars one with Ian's name...awesome! :thumbsup2

I can't believe how different he looks after his haircut! He is completely cute.

I love the tee designs. I think the Star Wars Father one is very cute.

Ian looks cute with his haircut.

Love the t-shirt designs. I really think I need the princess one. :lmao:

The Father's Day one is really cute, but I am like you and am not sure it is clear enough for a t-shirt transfer-hmmmm I know I saw some somewhere that had Star Wars, let me see if I can find it and maybe it is someone else who maybe can make one a little clearer. I would hate you to waste the transfer and T-shirt.

Ian's new haircut is super cute!!! I love it!

The designs for shirts are great! I have got to get on the ball with that, don't I?

Not sure, this could be the same person who did your Father's Day one, but if not Veronica does really great stuff and she is fast. I know she has some Father's Day ones and lots of Star Wars stuff so she could probably put something similar together for you if you think the one you have is not going to work. Here is her link:

I thought he looked older. Those Disigners are sooo talented!:yay:

I knew the girls wouldn't go for princessy princesses this year, but this one fit.:rotfl:

Yes! We all want to see Chelsea wearing her cute Bo shirt.:yay:

Aww, Ian must feel like shorn sheep!!

He'll feel much cooler, though, without all that hair on his neck. I always do the pre-trip cuts, too! :thumbsup2

Unofficial Guide called it the "Bibbity-Bobbity-Buzz-Cut".... I sometimes wonder if the Imagineers didn't borrow that for the BBB??? :rolleyes1

...Getting close!!
