these people are not having children, they are breeding an army. There is a distinct difference. They are not individual children loved for who thay are, but an army designed to fight God's war at armegeedon so yes breeder does apply. You know I said it a few pages back please explain WHY people continue to use the term "breeders" or "breeding" it disgusting when speaking of human beings
No, they believe God will handle it, and if he wants you to die in childbirth so be it.Okay...serious question here for those of you who are more familiar with this quiverfull concept. Are there any exceptions to the ban on birth control? Like in the case that a pregnancy could threaten the life of the mother, or if the resulting children wouldn't survive? For instance there are exceptions to the fast during Ramadan. Children under 12, the elderly, the sick, and pregnant or nursing mothers are not expected to fast because of the possible health risks. Is the use of birth control ever acceptable?
Yes, the interview quoted here by another poster was much later after they had figured out that they needed to temper what they said to make it more mainstream acceptable.I've been watching the Duggars ever since their first show and I remember clearly about the older sibling assignments and the blanket training too. I pretty much despised them at that point but have continued to watch them some over the years and either they have become more media savvy or they have changed their ways. They are definitely more "liberal" in their views and what they show on TV than they were many years ago.
