The Duggar Family is pregnant AGAIN!

Who needs a doll when you have a real live, eatting, pooping, crying toddler to deal with?

Is it JUST cabbage patch dolls? Or is it dolls in general?

I'm thinking just the CPD's. They come with those evil adoption papers after all.

I just wonder where they're all going to find people to marry:confused3 It seems like they are smart kids, but how much "world" experience do they get? If both school and worship are done at home as well as extracurricular activities (piano, violin etc.) it doesn't give many opportunities to meet peers.

So its the same with Build-a-bear?? Cause i am still legal guardian for a teddy i bought at the age of 11. Do i need to check out it's history too?

Why is it that it is mainly men that come up with these weird ideas?

They do worship with others of a like mind so I am sure they will arrange the marriages of their kids.

I'm sure the parents do the finding for them from the other quiverfull families. After-all they have to be worthy, and checked out thoroughly. Plus they can't have ever played w/ or owned a cabbage patch doll.

My guess is that any child who chooses outside the religion is shunned.

I've never played with a cabbage patch doll, but i don't think i want to marry into a family when i can't poop on my own! Not with my IBS!!! :)

I don't have IBS, but I still want my privacy when I have to poop, just ask my DH :rotfl2:

Sometimes I get my best thinking done when I poop. I NEED that private time.

Cause we women aren't that stupid?

You mean with the exception of the women who follow these men blindly correct?

These people really scare me. I don't care if someone thinks I'm being judgemental -- their belief system is just plain wrong, IMO.

The dual toilets are unreal. I can't even imagine what their daily life, when the cameras are turned off, is like.

I found this to be really funny... from the About Us section of the Family website:
"To date they have been blessed with 17 children, (10 boys and 7 girls) Joshua, Jana & John-David (twins), Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah & Jeremiah (twins), Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah (and #18 due in January 2009!)."
They forgot about little Jennifer! I guess when you're brewing #18, you might forget a couple of them from time to time. :rolleyes1

Also, from the Today interview:
The Duggar kids planned a big Mother's Day surprise for their mom this year. But the surprise was on them when Michelle Duggar announced on the TODAY Show that they were soon to welcome an 18th sibling.

“We’re expecting!” the happy mother told TODAY co-host Meredith Vieira and the entire Arkansas clan. “Number 18!

“They didn’t know. My girls watch the calendar like a hawk. We just found out on Monday night.”
(emphasis mine)

Am I to understand that the girls in the family are up on Michelle's cycle? Seems like they're a little too interested in each other's bodily functions, or (more likely) they were afraid of something like this happening.
