I just wonder how many of those children are going to want to have families of their own after raising all their siblings. I know I would be ready to go and hide far far away from them. I wouldn't wnat to be a girl that dated one of the older boys, especially if they expected me to have as many as their mom. And god-forbid, they girl they marry is infertile, I gusee they would just have to throw her out of the compound.

I have IBS, and i would like to poop in peace thank you very much! Its bad enough that i have to share a bathroom at uni, let alone with someone next to me!

And here I thought it was because the Cabbage Patch Doll would obviously have "inherit(ed) generational curses from their birth parents (or assembly line worker) and these must be researched, discovered, and specifically renounced".

After reading that list, no one can seriously believe these people don't belong to a cult, can they? When is the space ship going to call them home? When does the industrial size pack of Kool-aid finally get delivered?

That is so sad. Adoption is wonderful and I am proud that it is a popular practice in the USA. To open your heart and home to an unwanted child is beautiful.

Bill Gothard's followers do not resemble any Christians that I have ever met. I grew up in a town with a large Christian conservative population and many of the Christian families had adopted one or two children.

Discovery sure picked a winner when they profiled the Duggar family. The marketing and programming execs knew that the Duggar's extreme lifestyle and selfish parenting would be controversial and capture the voyeuristic indignation of TV viewers. Nothing like controversy to boost ratings.
