I've been waiting to see this dress since you posted about it back in mid October! @anniebean posted this image of a soft pink dress and details.


I bought a medium prior to posting it's arrival on ShopDisney. I hope everyone who was interested was able to purchase.

I finally got a chance to try on my 50th anniversary dress. I bought both a medium and a large. (I SHOULD be a small - but that's a WHOLE nother conversation.)

This is a picture of the large. It hangs low underneath my armpits and its big in the back because my butt doesn't let it hang like its intended to. I do have a short torso, so my hips prevent it from hanging fully.

The medium fit very snug.. If I had a proper full body undergarment it probably would look OK. My husband preferred the medium.

What I think I need is a Medium.5 - lol! The material is absolutely gorgeous. The dress is lined and has pockets. It's incredibly well made and if you have a normal torso it will be better. There is a little give.

The pink is soft (my shoes are soft pink in the pic) and the emboirdery is the now famous ear-ridescent.

I haven't seen any photos that included the crinoline petticoat, could you wear one with it or do you think it's not meant for this dress?

It looks so good on you - I've seen so many pictures where it just doesn't work on the hip area. I think the sizing is soooo off for everyone!!

Where are you seeing these photos? I'm really surprised there was only one blogger who posted about the dress release Disney Fashionista , maybe they were too busy reporting about the Figment Popcorn Bucket fiasco .

If you decide to sell the large, I’d be more than willing to buy it. I ordered a medium and unfortunately it fits more like a small so can’t get it zipped past my ribcage/bust. The armholes are even small which seemed weird

That's nice of you to say.
I wont return either. Once I know for sure which I'll keep this group of friends will be notified. I've got both hanging up in garment bags and kept the original plastic 'bags'.

I’ve lost and gained the same 20 pounds my entire adult life…so because of that, I keep several sizes of clothes in my closet….I need more closet space

on Facebook - there is a page called That Disney Dress Shop Life - a bunch of people bought this dress and it really seems to tug around the hips

I just got my dress today and absolutely agree with them. The medium I purchased feels more like a small too.

It seems to have a mind of its own, moving upward which created a puffiness like the dress needed to be shortened on the shoulder seam. I hope this all makes sense.

I even tried on my medium Haunted Mansion dress thinking I gained more weight but it was still slightly loose as I mentioned in my review a while back.


It's a weird fit and I'm sending mine back. So sad.
